I consent that there needs to be changes to the loot system, but I prefer my multiplier system - based around strikes, but easily adapted to raid aswell : (shameless self promotion muhahahaha) http://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/77060634/0/0

 • I'm sorry, but if you have ANY character who you've managed to get to level 30, you don't have any business calling anyone who hasn't a whiner, or complainer, or anything but unlucky. Because if you are one of those privileged few who have been fortunate enough to get all of the armor needed to get your character(s) to level 30, you haven't experienced the frustration the rest of us have of playing the raid for MONTHS with little to nothing to show for it. There is a saying floating around that doing the same thing over and over, yet expecting a different result is the present-day definition of INSANITY. Bungie has successfully managed to get millions of people to be insane every day. Studying for the BAR or a Ph D is, and should be hard. But at least with those, you KNOW with enough persistence, you see your hard work pay off. Not so with Destiny. There isn't ANYTHING that anyone whose at LV 30 has done that those of us who aren't haven't, except get lucky. That's not a fair system. Especially when those same people KEEP getting what they need to CONSISTENTLY create LV 30 characters, which I have seen on multiple occasions. I raid with one of them. I've already created multiple characters, leveled them as high as I could, AND raid multiple times a week, with nothing to show for it but excessive materials to level up the gear that I'm not getting. A little tweak to the raid drop algorithm is all I want. I don't think that's an unreasonable request. I know that I'm just one lowly player, who Bungie probably couldn't give a s--- about. But, for all of us out there, stuck at LV 29, regardless of all of our efforts to change that, who week after week watch our fellow players get the gear that we would almost give up our PS4 at this point to get, I am doing the only thing that I have any control over with regards to Destiny...not play. There are several other games coming out over the next few months that I've been eager to get my hands on. I'm sure I won't feel like I'm being punished for playing those.
