Sorry but it's just a stupid idea, if anything it would just make people stop playing and it disregards all the work people have put into Guardains. After Im finally starting to get my Titan with armour and weapons I want, to have that taken away. I'd just feel cheated. Not a win at all.
The without a helmet idea I get but naked... If you mean that literately all the awoken characters will just like groups of Dr Manhattans running amuck. Very distracting.

Imagine the person on patrol or a mission then all of a sudden an entire naked fireteam runs across the screen. Personally that would stop me in my tracks, questioning wether I actually saw what I saw. Think of the poor sod who hops on midweek to play crucible to be confronted by a naked Exo pointing a gun at them, I think they'd be too surprised to kill them. The idea of peoples characters being naked is so out of place for destiny that it may be off putting for a lot of player. I may find it funny you may too but others may be surprised or confused. Either way distracting.
