Destiny's biggest problem other than on disc DLC and the disgusting pricing model of $20-£20-20euros
Bungievision have caused a lot of problems for themselves and not learned from the mistakes of others after the debacle surrounding Street Fighter x Tekken which became a dead game within months for a bad business and player relations model.
The big problem within the game itself though is that Bungie just lack a huge amount of real creativity in design compared to other games. If you play MMO's, Borderlands or even Bayonetta then you will see this amazing bosses which are challenging and all do various things to standard enemies. In Destiny all the bosses including the Atheon and the next raid boss too are just big versions of smaller enemies and its a patter consistent throughout Destiny. What's the Archon Priest? A big fallen captain. Whats Sekrion? Just a big hydra. What's Atheon? A massive goblin. The bosses all share the same weaknesses of their smaller counterparts. They dont change their weaknesses and morph or show different sides of themselves. They just walk around a bit and fire their weapon while you pound bullets into 1 spot on their body. It gets especially boring for Strikes when you're a much higher level than the level 24 playlist because there is no decent loot system and there is also absolutely no challenge.
Bungie have to design more interesting bosses to fight against as well as address their bad business to wider player base relations (giving Fate Of All Fools to someone ill is greatly appreciated but it doesn't mean you can ignore the bigger issues with Bungievision right now) or boredom and lack of challenge will become Destiny's biggest downfall.
