Secret Raid Areas

Okay
So I watched some videos on YouTube of some clever Guardians finding ways to further explore the Vault...
.... and
I saw some threads about "[i]nobody has truly experienced what the Vault has to offer[/i]"....
........ and
How come the countdown just goes to zero at the end after Atheon??
........... and wtf is Kabr all about??
.. and ..... and.... well,
What I guess I'm trying to say is....
Sure we've all wrecked Atheon over and over... But have we truly cracked all the Vault's secrets?? Is there a dying light held within those walls worth searching for?? If so.. Where do we start?? .... and where does it [i]really[/i] end??
I think I'm [i]actually[/i] scared of the Vault lol.... It won't be long now before some of those clever and adventurous Guardians find some pretty crazy stuff hidden away..... Off the beaten path..
Pretty much, I just want to know, does anyone have any solid [i]theories[/i] or [i]paths[/i] or [i]ideas[/i] or [i]direction[/i] or ANYTHING??

Just a reminder, there are speculations of upcoming content release also releasing a level 31 version of the vault. Not only this, but an upcoming armor piece given to hunters is supposedly allowing an extra jump..... Just food for thought.

18 RepliesYou guys are grasping at straws. There is nothing else to the game. This is it. There is no more. I too dream of finding new things to find and do in Destiny but there isn't anything else. We were sold a shell of a game that has been brutally gutted. I am sure something was supposed to happen at the end of the raid but obviously IT WAS CUT. With them already focused on D2 2 months after release and the DLC all ready to go since release BUNGIE is counting their money and thinking of new marketing schemes and ploys to get even more people to buy again. I wish there was more. I honestly do. My heart skipped a beat when I read the "Comet" DLC thread. How awesome would that have been! But this is it. This is all this game and it's future iterations are going to be. I'm sure there was a grand design in mind but as long as BUNGIE remains under Activision's thumb we will continue to be sold a game built to be a bridge to the next CoD. BUNGIE is dead. Original design and passion to tell an epic saga has been mutilated and twisted to be nothing more than a machine to make more money by stringing the user base along with empty promises. Oh what could have been. They had a chance to really do something special and they said screw it for the money. Oh well. Off to run the same mission for the umpteenth time and continue my legend as a material farmer.

Reading some of these threads I have a tingling spider sense. I had an experience one day waiting for friends at the tower. I saw 6 people I assumed getting ready to go raiding, all wearing the same armor, all were wearing chatterwhite, and all had a Vex Mythoclast on their back. At first I thought this to be a group of friends that liked being uniform. Upon reading some very interesting theories about VoG, I find myself pondering if there might be something to this Kabr/Mythoclast/Timer theory. I apologize for not having a screen shot, but at the time I saw this "team" I didn't think it to be mut. Possible it was a Bungie team. I don't know just speculating.

Is this a hint that there are hidden secrets to the raid that aren't in the actual vault itself?and maybe the pocket infinity has something to do with the raid considering it was made with info from the vex

5 RepliesAll fire team members must have 1 of each Raid weapon equipped Fatebringer, Atheons Epilogue, Vision of Confluence, Praedyths Timepiece, Hezen Vengeance and Praedyths Revenge All Guardians must then stand at the back of the Vault, peering into the light that scars the cave Only extended simultaneous fire into the light will reveal the true boss. I and 5 others have been the only one to face him The names of the weapons are a dead give away. It is Kabr. Corrupted and broken with a shield. Screaming and on fire, I believe his is a Titan of the solar variety. Walls of flame blocked out escape and we battled him on the platform where Atheon once stood We could not defeat him, he was too strong. He sent us back into the time stream. Then it all ended

4 RepliesI wonder. You have that secret pathway under the 1st chest. If you are not on a raid you can make it to the 1 at chest but no further. I wonder if you can then take the alternate path further?

Perhaps tying in the grimoire card on the vex Mythoclast will add a new level of terror in regards to the mystery of the vault.

7 RepliesIt's obvious!!! To get the last chest all you have to do is these steps. 1. Have the tumbler sparrow 2. Get the sparrow all the way to atheon 3. Have sun singer warlocks throw solar grenades. 4. Ramp over the solar grenades 5. Backflip into atheon 6. Knock him off. Can confirm it works. If done correctly you will achieve the fate of all fools.

4 RepliesMe and my clan think that the 3 sync plates at the vault and the sync plate at the gate lord on Venus are all connected somehow. If you go there in patrol I think the enemies are level 20 but if you go to the gate lord area during the vault the enemies levels raise to 26 or 30 based on what raid you're running. This also applies to the enemies found in the area at the citadel where the force barrier surrounds a vex time gate. Go check it out.

Has anyone tried making sure the door ftom jumping puzzle is kept open while someone go to future portal and check the door from future?

Bungie has shown a MASSIVE lack of geniousity i the game so far and still people speculate on "hidden" genious chests? they havent even fixed the bugs and glitches in the vault but yet they should have added some super duper hyper secret content ? ON top that some clever people (not bungie ) datamined the source and got you already all the possible loot for the game AND the DLC, so even if there "would " be a crate (which just isnt there) it would probably just contain shards and energy.. (like the first bonus chest) so realax, this brick is just a brick and not a jar..

Speculations of a master jumper are as follows. - Areas as of yet unexplored are within Atheons chambers. (Mars and Venus portals) - I believe the portals represent Past and Future. - Future expansions have the possibility to add things to the current RAID. Like possible Level 34 Difficulty. - As seen from current Difficulty selections enemies and few loot rolls are changed. In time Difficulty selections could change loot, strategy, and chest locations. Players from games that RAIDs consist of 24 players plus will understand this logic of change. At this time possibility of stuff changing like a true RAID are slim to none.

I always wondered what would happen if you kill the gatekeeper, open both portals and a couple of guys ran out by yhe portal where the jumping puzzle is. Or if not opening any chests would trigger something to happen. I don't think they would allow you to get over there if it didn't have any meaning.

1 ReplyThe door closes for the atheon fight and that's it. Anything at the end would be in the vault itself. The lights are a great idea. We are certainly missing some sort of trigger.

So, if people go the gate lord area when doing the Vault, there are raid-level enemies. There is a hidden time gate in the jumping puzzle. What happens if, after the gate opens, three people enter the Vault, don't wipe AT ALL, and the others go to the gate lord area and open that gate? Would the gate in the jumping puzzle open? Maybe only on hard?

6 RepliesSecret to the sixth and seventh chests: 1. Make sure the door is open when you kill Atheon. 2. Have everybody run out to the jumping puzzle. 3. Everybody use their supers on the vex gate out in the puzzle 4. Run back inside the boss room and cap both portals. 5. Have 3 run in one side, 3 in the other. This crosses the past and present. 6. Have everybody run out to where Atheon spawns. 7. You will be marked, and blind. 8. Look out where the light shines through the vault. 9. Watch Kabr appear with the real relic. 10. Take the relic from him, and fly out to the vex gate in the puzzle. 11. Cleanse the gate. 12. Two chests spawn. 13. Open both chests, both drop exotics never before seen. 14. Trust me it's real. 4 RepliesI'm guessing that at this point if anything is left hidden in the VoG, it has something to do with the "most difficult to obtain weapon", Vex Mythoclast. The grimoire card pretty much says so. "Maybe it will reveal it's true purpose in time" - I mean come on... Mythoclast actually means "destroyer of myths".
