I just hate being forced to play PvP to get it. Once I got to that part of the bounty I dropped it.

What's with the hostility? I'm simply not that big a fan of PvP and never stated whether or not I deserve to use it based on my enjoyment of a game mode.

A lot of them require PvP. It's good practice if anything

Castor85s point still stands though. It's poor form forcing people into a part of the game that is optional only for many.

it's my belief that owning a Thorn showcases a guardians bravery; which is hard for an exotic to accomplish with the on going debate over what Xur stands for. Anyone with a Thorn will tell you that is no joke when it comes to defeating Xyor. It's no easy to complete the crucible. (I know there's some braggers out there that own a Thorn and disagree with the difficulty but it only show cases their talent as well as any words will.) I will admit that my initial comment about not deserving to own one because of your ideals was a little too forward but I stand by my ideals by saying that you need to prove your worth for owning one. it's an excellent weapon when you get it to it's full potential.
