  • It can say whatever it wants. It functions like a glorified auto rifle, and it uses white ammo. Dolt.

  • It is still in the primary weapon slot and using primary ammo when you pick up ingame so YES it does need a buff.

  • So are you telling me that the universal remote that is a shotgun primary needs 100+ rounds on backup instead of 25.

  • Not necessarily. Auto rifles have more ammo than shotgun by default. And since the Vex handles like an AR i say it should have maybe 260 or 300 instead of 168. As for the universal remote, it still handles like a shotgun am I right? Doesn't have a sick rate of fire? I think it should have more ammo then 25 since most special shotguns can reach around 24 or so. Maybe make max 41 or 42? Giving universal remote 100 is like giving the Vex 550 to 600

  • That's the idea though is they have the same amount if ammo as the type of weapon they are and the universal remote has a decent rate of fire but highly inaccurate. Just cause its a primary doesn't mean anything. They just gave you the option so have those couple specials as a full time use weapon. The vex handles as a auto rifle yet but does massive damage like a fusion rifle does so to give the vex large amounts of ammo isn't fair or logical and can't fit in a pvp and a pve ratio at the same time and that's what you need to look at. It's not just about one or the other. The way the vex sits for now is stable

  • Giving an ammo increase to the Vex would do no difference in pvp. It is balanced enough so that you can be killed while using it so you wont ever go on long streaks with tons of ammo without dying. I see your point about primary and special weapon. I get the difference now. Morw often, primary ammo should drop than special ammo but ammo capacity is low due to it being a fusion rifle. Its just an annoying combination since it runs out quickly.

  • Yeah but it's not something that I think has a huge importance of being fixed because the power of it is so evened out but originally it was very powerful weapon so low ammo made sense

  • Yea then it made sense but now it doesn't as much. It could be raised to 250 though :( I haven't run out of ammo as many times with anything else as I have with the Vex.

  • If it was going to have a lot of ammo it would be an auto rifle. But its not. Doesn't matter if its fcuking primary it doesn't have a lot of ammo because its a FUSION RIFLE!

  • But the type of weapon shouldn't matter in my opinion. If it's primary it is thw weapon you use first and and most ammo will be used for it. If, as you claim, I am MEANT to have low ammo simply because it's a fusion rifle aka special weapon then I am stuck with a weapon used as primary with speciak weapon ammo amount. It makes no sense.

  • You're not stuck with it, don't use it then. Or try idk making most your shots count.

  • Im not a bad shot but I still run out of ammo. And it's a bit sad to put a weapon away that otherwise would be super fun to use simply because it has too low max ammo. "Don't use it" isn't good enough for me.

My favorite weapons usually have less then 200 max ammo. It doesn't bother me, primary ammo drops aren't in short supply. 56 shots in a clip seems more then sufficient. Seeing as is not an auto rifle, it fires like a scout rifle. So your complaint is moot. And it is far from worthless in pve content. A lot of my friends all use theirs. Just got to pick the right weapon for the encounter. I weapon swap al the time. Not that big of a deal. And seriously yours isn't even maxed out. at least upgrade it all the way before making a post about ammo reserves. They do considerably more damage maxed out.

  • Yes primary ammo drops are common but shortly before my post I was unlucky enough to not have any :( 56 in a clip is fine but my point is the total ammo is too low for its placement (primary) and its rate of fire. It does not fire as fast as MOST auto rifles that's true but it fires 2 or 3x as fast as scout rifles. It fires faster than suros regime and that, without doubt is an auto rifle. It handles definitely like an auto rifle and it is a primary. I don't see why it shouldnt receive and ammo buff. And I never said it was useless in pve. I use mine all the time. The max ammo is just too low.
