Should there be matchmaking for the raid? Yes or No? No in between answers or "Yes but ......"
YES = matchmaking, just matchmaking, no filters, options, or kicking. Matchmaking as it is in the strike playlist now.
NO = no matchmaking
IF YOU SAY "YES MATHCMAKING BUT WITH......" YOUR ANSWER SHOULD BE NO BECAUSE YOU DON'T WANT MATCHMAKING THE WAY IT IS
If matchmaking was made available it would be just like the current strike playlist matchmaking. No filters, options, or kicking.
If it is kept the same then raid and weekly strikes will continue without matchmaking.
Those are your options.

No. The strike I did a few seconds ago made me even more confident with my decision. I queued for a strike and it threw me in a middle of the last boss. At first, I thought I was lucky. But this level 30 guy was doing a 24 tiger strike from the safe spot (same strike as this weeks nightfall) No wonder the other two left him... I mean seriously... /sigh

Yes for Nightfall, Weekly, and Normal mode VoG. NO for hard mode VoG.
-
I don't know why not make everything matchmaking. Just form your party of 3-6 (depending what you're doing) and load up with your group. Or just play by yourself and play with random people. Either way when playing with friends and missing 1 or 2 people for the raid they'll just invite random people. So why not just add matchmaking to fill in those spot quicker.
-
Yes, but two things. 1- Level 28 minimum to play it. 2- Refer to number 1
-
It's bad enough to try and play with level 28 randoms from the tower in the raid. I don't need to be playing with some level 22 who just unlocked the option to play it.
-
The raid requires too much coordination to be done with strangers without a mic. What if you get matchmaking? Yes you will find 5 more guys but you will not even be able to open the vaults door because you will be unable to comunicate with the players.
-
If yes then the option to toggle matchmaking. This is needed for all matchmaking in pve
-
I think yes. It gives ppl the option to at least attempt it if they're unsure. If you don't want ransoms then just have your fireteam of 6. It's not like we haven't been doing that already. The only downside i see is ppl trolling others doing some Leroy Jenkins crap or just not having the time committed to finish it. It's all about options guys...
-
The only people voting YES have obviously never raided before
-
Simply won't work with six randoms, just get on these forums and get in with players crying out for fireteam numbers !!!!
-
No. What follows raid matchmaking is raid nerfs. Always does.
-
No!!! The raid is only what it is because there's no matchmaking
-
I would suggest just making a matchmaking for 26 vault of glass, so the more casual player could experience it, and possibly gear up for hard mode. Not apposed to a few weapons being exclusive to hard mode.
-
No. I have friends who play all over the world. Some people can speak English, some people can't. Some people like to use VC, some people don't. When people can't communicate and understand each other, the raid is going to be a full of stress. We don't need a matchmaking for the raid, but we should have other way to gather the people. I.e. Text sign
-
Also it doesn't make since for anyone to vote no. Because if you don't want matchmaking then don't use it....derrrrrrr I'm sure there would still be plenty of lfg posts.
-
Why the hell you would vote No... Doesn't make sense.
-
I would say put it up for 1 week as a test, if it succeeds then keep it, if not remove it
-
For anyone voting no to this, why? You have a full group? Great. It will % 100 not affect you. For those players that have trouble getting 5 friends all online, at the same time, same day, with enough time to finish it, matchmaking will be helpful to them. They get a not so great player? Oh well. They wouldn't even be able to play it if he wasn't there. Again, matchmaking would be optional. Voting no simply because you wont use it makes no sense.
-
I've heard all the arguments against this before, but no one has ever actually given a reason why it can't be an option. At least people who aren't able to round up five friends have some OPTION to experience the vault.
-
If they did matchmaking it should match you with people of similar completions as you. That's my thoughts at this time.
-
The hardest part of VoG is getting a group together honestly.
-
Yes but only for normal and would have to be 28+ to have this available. If you could take a fire team of 4 ppl to it and pick up two randoms I think it would be fine. Not ideal but it would get the two needed in a pinch
-
Let's look at it from a utilitarianism approach. Does the Benefits for well-being seem greater than the disbenefits?
-
No if there would be no filters or options to matchmaking. Yes if there are filters and options.
-
I highly recommend putting an "other" option on the poll. I say no to random matchmaking, BUT I believe they should put a raid kiosk in the hangar lounge area where people can place their character info and either request help or offer their services.
-
It's like custom games and matchmaking. The raid is only available through custom games. Some people want matchmaking for it as well. But what does it hurt to have the matchmaking option available? If it's a bad thing and generally doesn't work, then it will fail in large part and people will not do it. It's totally your choice and doesn't affect those who wanna do it the way it is now. I don't see the harm in it. If it's not something you don't want to do, then you don't have to. I probably never would, but I think it could be added. Game chat would be an absolute 100% must.
