Since we're talking strictly pvp, by ur post, I'll say no. I do fairly well in PvP with my Defender. As long as you use your bubble strategically, with the Helm of Saint-14, you should come out on top more often than not.

I feel as if the only people that whine about playing a Titan are people that can't use the bubble in a strategic way, my main is a warlock but my defender Titan is slowly getting more play time because I love placing the bubble in the right spot and picking people off

As a titan the bubble is good except the annoying gunslinger which takes it down with 1 shot. All other characters are risking their full supercharge except gunslinger. I feel like they coded it that its destroyed on a impact with any super charge and doesn't matter on the damage.
