Yeah, Golden Gun description says it "..disintegrates enemies with Solar Light...", but some enemies actually survive! Bungie, buff this piece of crap!
Now, to be serious, Titans have no reason to be buffed. The only thing that can destroy a Ward of Dawn is a Super, which is fair enough. Everything else would take too long to be efficient. Fist of Havoc is unstoppable and unbeatable. Don't like catapult? Okay, don't use it... duh. The bubble can't be taken down quickly without a super, as previously stated, and the blinding helmet is waaaay more centered to PvE due to the fact mobs are completely taken out of commission by it.
If titans are supposed to be like tanks then why can they get one shotted by a shotty in mid super and an arc blader can take about 3-4 shots.
I don't think this even needs stating. Arc Blade completely removes ALL ranged offensive options. If you died faster than a vanilla Titan, something would be -blam!-ing wrong. Not to mention Arc Blade only takes two close ranged shotgun shots to kill. There have been plenty of cases where I get killed surprisingly fast while using it.
Don't like catapult? Okay, don't use it... duh.
This is my only gripe, it is not that we "don't like it" but it does nothing at all. I don't see how the QA team missed this, and how they still haven't done anything.

Edited by b e a n: 11/4/2014 5:24:37 PMI used catapult on my Titan for a little bit and from what I could tell it seemed to give more momentum when you initiate the jump, but gave less overall height. I'm a height guy, so I switched pretty quick.

Still have that titan? Compare catapult to better control next time you play.

bullsh1t!! im a titan and i can destroy the ward of dawn another titan is using buy going inside of it and throwing a grenade!!
-
Edited by b e a n: 11/4/2014 5:12:31 PMI've never seen that happen, ever. I did not know that was even possible.
-
oh i can tell you straight up its possible. i do it all the time
-
You can die while using fist of havoc as well. Also quite easily
-
You serious? QUITE EASILY? You can take a Golden Gun shot and still survive and the animation lasts like 1.5/2 seconds! There's barely any time to kill someone in Fist of Havoc and even if you do, the Super bar doesn't reset, so there's absolutely no point!

Unless they have the perk on to make them harder to kill a shotgun or fusion rifle or multiple people shooting the Titan can easily take him down. Most people don't use that perk because it's in the same column as shoulder charge. Golden gun has ability to kill enemies at range. Enough said. Nova bomb does the same as fist of havoc from a range. Also enough said. And blade dance has potential to kill way more enemies because you are able to move with it. That is unless of course you're entire 6 man team is in one spot. If that is the case then you probably deserve fist of havoc. Also the titans melee has the shortest range and I find myself getting shotgunned through my shoulder charge probably 75% of the time. Not to mention we are kind of lacking in the agility spectrum of the game also making us pretty easy to kill when running in for both shoulder charge and super.
-
You'd be surprised how many times I fire my Golden Gun at people mid-FoH. I've never once gotten a one shot kill from full shields, and I'm 100% certain that some of them were using the Shoulder Charge perk... besides, I'm not arguing that Fist of Havoc is OP or anything, I'm just saying the damage reduction is pretty damn noticeable.
-
Golden gun is the only super without a damage reduction. Got the short end of the stick there.
-
Oh, I realise that. I'm just saying that, from my experience, it seems like Fist of Havoc gets the most, despite being the fastest to actually use.
