I didn't love Darksiders 2 as much. It had some pacing issues that made it difficult to get through in spots. However, I loved the original. To me, it felt one of the old platformers like Spyro or Jak and Daxter but with a more mature theme. So basically, it felt like a game meant for people in my age group that grew up with games that had similar designs. I also absolutely loved the premise and the art. Good additions to the list for sure.

I loved both the only thing i didnt like about darksiders 2 was the final boss was not much of a fight, but darksiders 2 sidequest, all the things off the beaten path, the rare loot, and how death could move was a great addition for me, but both were really good, and both had a great story to tell

If you knew me personally, you'd understand why I liked War so much better than Death. Case in point: I mained a Titan in this game rather than a Hunter. You see what I'm getting at? Nimble and fast is cool. Slower but packing a heavy punch is really my bread and butter though. War was more of a heavy hitting juggernaut whereas Death is more like a ninja monkey with scythes. Both are cool, but War is more my speed.

The next logical step for Vigil Games would be to do a 4 player co-op game but I don't know if that's what they plan to do. I get the feeling that's what the original dev was going to do. I know they still have Pestilence and Famine to go. If I recall correctly, one of the remaining two is a female gunslinger that duel wields revolvers. There is enough room in the lore to do all kinds of stuff though.
