I've got my PS3 setup like that, but it hasn't fixed it. Almost considering putting it into bridge mode and getting a different wireless router.

I've had the Sam issue with xbox 360 and comcast same router too thanks for the info ill give it a try

Good luck. I posted in another thread that I finally fixed it. Though I had to get a wired connection. My guess is because it's a router and gateway it doesn't have a really strong signal. To fix it I went to best buy and ended up getting a net gear Powerline adapter. Have me a wired connection to my console. In the end it was worth it as I've got a faster connection on the PS3. Just sucks I had to spend the extra money for it
