I have no issues admitting it... I'd rather look at a female avatar than a male one. It's not me... It's what I have to look at.
There are a few ways to perceive why someone uses the gender they do, it could be argued everyone that uses a malle avatars likes to look at guys.
So before somebody ASSUMES something they should ask if they get so worked up about it.

Exactly! People would like to assume every bad possible thing about you, when they could save themselves time by simply asking.

It could also be argued that anyone who chooses a female character is slightly more feminine than the average guy
