See you are wrong because this should be part of the game, look at the examples given and then say this is acceptable. We are paying customers upset with the service. I am willing to bet if you ordered an expensive burger in a restaurant and got a McDonald's burger instead you would want to say something to the manager. But then I would like to come in and tell you how ungrateful you are, and that you should be happy with a $10 McDonald's burger.

Not the case at all. This isn't an MMO and you surely shouldn't expect extravagent holiday events. Especially seeing as how they didn't announce a holiday event. Its a gag event. It's that simple. What OP sounds like is someome who orders a small McDouble and expects the combo and large soda upgrade to come free of charge. [spoiler]He didn't get the combo[/spoiler]

I was bored after the first 2 weeks when I'd played through every strike and story mission in the game for the 20th god damn time to grind my factions and do the same daily bounties and patrols over and over. Content design is the #1 issue with this game. THERE IS NONE. Filler content like this would absolutely give you a world you want to be in. Something to go back to and explore. Variety to ensure you'll never get bored. See, I don't expect a DLC release every 2 weeks, because that's about how long on average it takes most dedicated gamers to get through the content before it goes into repetition overload. Seasonal content (whilst sounding silly) is the perfect filler content for a game like this. It gives people something to do that's out of the ordinary, different and fun whilst they do wait for those DLCs to roll out. This isn't a big revelation. I didn't create this idea. This has been around in the market with every major social online game for the last decade and more. Ask yourself... [i]WHY?[/i] This is the point you and every other idiot fanboy who have responded so far missed completely with my message. Missed... completely.

How is it a gag event and where are you getting that information from? If it was a gag it would have been better to advertize not spring it on people. Most people don't even know anything is going on. A lot of people can't even use the pumpkin, and there is no clear way of how to access the other "Holliday" items. It seems to me it was a late attempt to try to bring something to the game, but Bungie has been in catch up mode since launch. I would rather not have had anything at all, at least that way I wouldn't have the disappointment at how minor the "gag event" you claim it is. Pretty crappy gag, no one is really laughing.

Gag event as in supposed to be small and fun? Honestly didn't expect to have to spell that one out. It's not like it was just made for you. If you don't like it move along. There's other things to complain about. Honestly though did you expect some new strike or mission? Some crazy boss with new loot? Rahool giving out engrams for trick or treaters? Dont go expecting Santa to bring you legendaries this year either. It will more than likely be something along the lines of this event. [spoiler]You're getting coal...again[/spoiler]

You can't make unsubstantiated claims and the say they are obvious. I asked for facts you gave me your opinion on the matter. You can spell it out however you want, doesn't make it fact. The truth is you don't know anything more than the next guy, unless you are a dev in disguise. ( That would be a whole other can of worms) So the fact that you think you have the final opinion makes me think your sense of etitlement is greater than the person you are ragging on. If you don't have a problem with the game don't try to convince people with legit reasons why their reasons don't matter. You just come off like a douche.

Okay lets try this AGAIN then. Shared world shooter with post launch support is what Bungie called this game. AKA not an MMO. I'd put links but I'm on mobile so google it. Was there any announcement of a Halloween update? No. Nada. Zip. So what did the Halloween update include? A pumpkin head. So by basic reasoning you could conclude its just a small "Hey its Halloween here's some cool fun stuff" patch. It's kinda not an opinion as much as fact. There's detailed listings of what the patch included over on reddit. So why would one expect content like OP asked for in the original post? Which is basically my point this entire thread if you've been keeping up. Don't really care if i come off as a douche. If anything imho you and OP both do so its whatever to me really. This is why we can't have nice things. You get no cookie sir -1.

Your point was it is a gag, when asked to provide specific info about it's gag nature you couldn't produce it as it is your opinion and posting patch notes doesn't give you credibility. When I pointed that out you didn't want to admit it. I have been making observations and you just get more and more angry. I just think you are wrong to get mad at someone else's outrage. Especially when the game is in the state that it is. I made that point you ignored it. Simple as that. Keep thinking whatever you want because I never was invested in this.
