I do agree with what you are saying, but here is the truth about level 30. It only serves to help you in the Raid on Hard mode. That's it. Most of the raid armor doesn't even look that good. Especially the Hunter's Grieves. Most of the raid armor only gives you perks for killing stuff found only in the raid (oracles and Praterians(sp?)). Most level 30s keep their raid set for the raid and use other stuff for everything else. I understand you want to hit the level cap, but it's not really that special. If Bungie implemented more stuff outside the raid for level 30s, than I would agree with you 100%.
As for matchmaking, I wouldn't mind it because I play during the night and don't mind helping randoms through the raid.
Before anyway says it, My Hunter will be level 30 after one or two upgrades to the Grieves. I know many high level players who can be level 30 when they want, but typically don't show it so random people don't spam them with invites.
Your role as a moderator enables you immediately ban this user from messaging (bypassing the report queue) if you select a punishment.
