if you are for or against state why.
bungie has formally stated they will never and have no intentions of implimenting one, but maybe if enough of the forum pop agrees or disagrees they could in a perfect world listen.
I believe there should be. not for the players or to fix the shitty loot system, but for bungie to keep it's gamers. From a PR standpoint your loot system is flawed, and you have no intent on changing it, so let the players fix it by letting them trade. the game is at a point where there is little to no real world value on raid gear or loot if you are saying there's no trade for RWT prevention.
-
Only at reward screen at the end of an activity with your fireteam otherwise I think it would be abused!
-
If u play enough u eventually get everything.
-
Why xùr has already sold every weapon in the game now than once
-
I disagree completely because if Bungie were to add item trading to Destiny it would spark a new market as there are always has been and always will be people who are willing to pay for an exotic and there would be people who would begin to sell Exotics. No one would want this, especially not Bungie as it would be kinda classed as a "Black Market of sorts.
-
I feel like trading would be a great addition to the game, but there would have to be limits towards whats being traded. Doesn't seem right to give a free exotic away if you stumble upon a second one. Maybe if the glimmer cap was greatly raised, glimmer could be a more valuable part of the economy and could be traded. I voted yes but don't get me wrong, I do see how the decision could backfire if they don't put any limits on it
-
Yes, but I believe no Exotics/Raid Gear or Weapons should be traded. Legendaries only.
-

Yes, but only exotic for exotics and legendary for legendary! Or maybe you could trade dropped items at end of raids and nightfalls to reduce duplicate items

-
I vote no. Sure, we all want it, but Destiny doesn't have nearly the verity of guns or items to do this. In fact I am sure that if there was trading that many people would just leave Destiny because they got what they wanted.
-
I voted yes, but I'm in favor of a very limited trading system. I think you should be able to trade with your fireteam immediately after you complete an activity. I've dismantled three Hawkmoons in front of my friend who has never relieved one. Sure, it was fun but I'd rather harm been able to give one to him. I mean, we just did the same activity together? Why shouldn't I be able to trade my Hawkmoon for whatever his drop was? I'm not in favor of any kind of trading beyond that, though.
-
I say "Yes" because I have seen too many people get amazing rewards for no work - or vice versa - and too many people get good items they will never use; they already have six of that same item. Trading will not "break the game." Trading is the final step Destiny needs to make it an actual RPG. Plus, hasn't ANYBODY considered that guidelines can be set for trading? Like an Exotic rocket launcher can only be traded for another Exotic rocket launcher? Or an uncommon scout rifle for an uncommon scout rifle?? I do realize that even with these guidelines, trading could still result in unfair gaining of OP weapons and/or gear. Like Raid gear, for example; maybe we can only trade Raid primaries for Raid primaries; secondaries for secondaries; heavies for heavies. Maybe Exotic trading could be prohibited. There are so many possibilities with this element, guys. I mean, come on people. Think about this stuff before you go assuming that it will ruin the game.
-
It would ruin the game, it's an RNG loot game remember. Only half way house for me is at the end of strikes or raids, all fire team members get 10 seconds to press a certain button and it randomises the reward if everybody wants in.
-
No because then the game would end up with an in game economy just like team fortress 2 and so many things would be outrageous for pricing and it would also lead to people paying with real money for virtual items that anyone can get and has an equal chance of getting.
-
Stupid stupid idea
-
This game is all about grinding for new weapons and armour to better the playing experience.... Adding trading defeats the whole outlay of how the game plays. Why would you grind for a weapon when you can trade for it.
-
No. Because you'll get some fresh level 20 being handed some of the best gear in the game. They'll skip hours of content and the joy of carving their own legend if they do this. It's not the destiny way. Every piece of gear we wear, we have earned through battle or by tongue-kissing Lady Luck. A trade system would ruin this game. It would start more fights on the forums "why doesn't anyone EVER have_____?!" or "I can't get_____ does anyone have it?" the community and adventure of Destiny would suffer greatly.
-
Activision got sent a letter by blizzard not to put in a trading system
-
-
Yes because I keep getting the same stuff my friend wants but has no luck getting, and my friend getting the same stuff I want but have no luck.
-
I've only ever heard two good ideas: Trade between fireteam at end of match, or temporary trade between fireteam.
-
Make it so you can Only Trade Rewards with People from the Fireteam you did the Activity with.
-
Edited by Poryelmo: 8/14/2015 4:18:26 PMIt would break the game

I Said no in the poll as I believe any open trading system would break the game but I thought maybe and just maybe it could be a super limited one. Such as trading the items on the reward screen only. IE you get a shotgun your buddy gets a pulse rifle from the same strike/game you can trade then and there only. This could improve things for a lot of people. As for materials I don't think so those should be purchasable or exchanged in some way with NPC venders
