I payed £45 for Destiny and I am fed up of replaying the same content and redoing the same things I did after just 10 hours of game play by my 100th, as such I am now bored with the game. I payed £30 for Dark souls 2 and I have put over 400 hours into that game, and I am STILL finding things I have not done. You tell me, which is the better value and worth more?

  • So quit playing Destiny, and keep playing Dark Souls 2. If another game offers you more value for your dollar, then by all means play that game.

  • That is actually my plan, I am trading in Destiny this weekend and I have a couple of DLC for DS2 that I haven't touched yet, I will be playing them this weekend instead!

You guys are missing my point. I had done pretty much all Destiny had to offer with only 10 hours on the clock content wise. With Dark souls 2 I am 400 hours in and still finding things I have not done, this was my point.

  • Yeah I've made 5 characters and each are 8-10 hours each to get to 20, I doubt you made it to 29 though in that 10 hours unless your crazy lucky since you have to sit there and find all the stuff you need and play crucible to buy armor. I've got 8 days on my Titan and he still isn't a 30.

  • not sure I believe this. in 10 hours you did every mission every strike the PVP maps and the raid. if this is true is a book too short because you red the cliffnotes instead of enjoying the real book? no way someone could do everything including the raid in 10 hours with out purposefully trying to find spoilers for it.

May have been a little more, the missions are all together about 4 hours game time, strikes an hour each giving us 9, the raid tales about 2 hours first time you do it. That gives 11 hours. 1 hour tops to get pvp done and you have 12 hours content, now repeat it all for the bounties and dailies/ weeklies. The full game is experienced in 12-15 hours.

  • the first people that did the raid took 12-14 hours. my group did it in 10 the first time.. the story missions, I have 4 hours in my lvl 11 char and hes just over halfway thru the stories I think. and thats with trying to do them fast. sounds to me like your bitching about the game being to short after finding all the spoilers you could to make it shorter.

  • No I'm annoyed because the game is short, and by the many reviews i am not alone in this. I had high expectations for destiny because of bungies past and the stuff we got shown on destiny, lots of which is missing. Go play halo 1 and compare stories and content, even game worlds, that game over 10 years old shows what bungie can do, destiny did not show this.

  • Depends on The subjective worth of YOUR experience. I've played 186 hours, giving me a cost of £0.24 per hour. Bloody good value IMO.

  • I didn't care for dark souls and I dig destiny. So whatever cost for dark souls it's not equitable for me.
