Being as it is a personal call, if that is what you value then yeah, sure.
-
What else is there? Money makes the world go round. Time is the only real currency. It's better to spend the time you have, having fun than not.
-
A variety of things actually. While I concede that time is your primary currency, how people want to use it is a debatable factor. Gaming offers much more than just having fun with your friends. Some people want to be challenged, physically/intellectually/what have you. Some people want to escape from things, reality/social interaction/etc... Some people, like you, want to have fun with their friends. Destiny appeases somethings for some people but boiling it's value/worth to just a simple mathematical formula to determine that value/worth is wrong. As is just boiling it down to the vaporous term of fun. That's not to say that those determining factors aren't valuable to some people but they aren't determinable for all.
-
And people saying that $20 for 3 missions etc, is that not also boiling it's value to a simple mathematical formula?
-
It depends on why they are saying that. There are layers to everything.

Including the maths supplied by OP

Sure but his entire post comes off as a put down to those that don't agree with his formula for value. He's not wrong for judging it that way, he's wrong for imposing his standard of value to everyone else.
