Im Lvl 30, and have put many hours into the little PvE content there currently is, in order to get to Lvl 30 and be ready for the upcoming DLC.
1new strike and 1raid.
Notice i didnt mention the 3 regular story missions, thise arent even worth mentioning, and the PvP maps are a plus, but Destiny doesnt need any more PvP content, its PvE what it needs.
I was like hell yeah new DLC, i been doing the same 8 or so strikes over and over, theiyre fun but im ready for more.
1strike (2 for PlayStation users, which is a slap to the face to Xbox users, but thats a whole another deal) and 1 raid,
Not even a new planet.
Thats absolutely ridiculous.

It's a slap in the face for everyone. How the hell can they call this an "expansion'? Seriously. It's just dlc. Nothing more. To me, an expansion would be a planet. I can't believe how much they despise us to actually charge us for freaking story missions that should have been included in the damn game!

Never played anything by bungie before and I think the game was worth the 60dllrs for me. But one of the things that keep me going was the hope that the DLC WOULD BE HUGE! new subclases, weapon types, at least three strikes, raid, at least 6 story missions ( if this 3 are like the ones that we have now, why bother).....please tell me that the info WE HAVE on the DLC IS NOT ALL!, BY GOD SAKES IT COSTS 20DLLRS!

Yep, sadly the expansion is 1strike and 1raid Lol I am highly dissapointed because i really like Destiny. But this expansion is ridiculous

I agree with both of you guys, at this point they need to make major revisions to the core pve game or I'm out. I'll take this as a lesson.

Like do they expect players to just do that same 1 strike over and over and over until the 2nd "expansion" comes out? Ok theres the new raid, which u can only get rewards off of it once a week. Not much else to do.

Good question. Honestly it took players a few weeks to go through the full game how are they expecting us to want to come back for two months with nothing but filler (ie pink slime) like the queens wrath and the iron stupidity.... I'll have traded this in WAY WAY before I bother with this. And I will NOT give them a second chance with destiny 2.

Deathstroke a few weeks it took me a day to get thru the complete non story that was put into this game they don't explain anything. the people we fight why we are jumping from planet to planet nothing the only thing that keeps me going is the fact that I can play with my friends and like u said the flawless gunplay. I'm not looking to spend anymore money on nothing 1 more strike is not worth 20 dollars to me there is a lot of things they need to fix. Instead of them worrying about how to patch our exploits and our gun damage.. a simple thing like more chest or implement trades or auctions amongst players...fixing the cumbersome task of switching characters would be a great fix to your design flaw.....

I know they can still fix this, damn they could just restore the old game that had to exist before the ban hammer mashed through the story...

Because the head writer left, I think Bungie gutted the story to what it is now so they wouldn't have to pay him royalties. If they would have left it the way it was, they would have had to compensate him for what looked like, something pretty special. I think this is where Activision may have stepped in from a business point and said, NO! So, they dropped chapters of the story into a hat, and what they pulled out, they cut and mangled to say it was their own work. So honestly, I don't think we're ever going to get everything we saw in those ViDoc videos just because of that. As Barney Stinson would say; "True story"!
