I paid $100 for Battlefield 4, and I've played it for over 500 hours.
I paid $100 for Battlefield 3, and I've played it for over 800 hours.
I paid $60 for Skyrim and I've played it for over 500 hours.
I was given GTA5 for free and I've played it for over 100 hours.
I was given two of the Stalker games for free, and paid $5 for the third, I've played them collectively over 300 hours.
I was given Killing Floor for free, and I've paid $20 total for DLC, and I've played it for over 100 hours.
I paid $15 for Don't Starve and I've played it for 40 hours.
I paid $120 for StarCraft 2 and the Heart of the Swarm expansion, and I've played them for over 300 hours.
I paid $100 for Diablo 3 and the Reaper of Souls expansion and I've played my Demon Hunter characters alone for over 600 hours.
I paid over $500 for the entire Halo series up until Reach, which I've likely played for over 1000 hours between all of them.
I paid $100 for Destiny and I've played it for over 100 hours.
I enjoyed every minute of my time spent playing 10 of the above mentioned games/series. 1 of them fell short in every possible way.
You don't get to tell me what my dollar is worth.

Holy smoke! 800 hours on BF3. That thing didn't last me a long weekend. Got my nephews Don't Starve, and I couldn't stand to watch them play for 4 minutes much less 40 hours. I have more hours on Destiny vs any game released on console in recent memory.
-
Not everyone likes Battlefield. I do. I couldn't watch someone play Don't Starve for 4 minutes either...
-
Bro you have in only this 10 games more then 180 days playing, it's like half a year! I don't know how many years it took for you to get that number in only this 10 games. I'm sure I have more then that in my life time playing games, I started with 5 years old and I'm now 28 and still playing (not as much) but with only 10 games it's a lot!
-
A lot of those games were released a couple of years apart, and a lot of them have been around for at least 6+ years. Not to mention, I basically just listed off some of my favorite games of the last 15 years or so... so yeah, of course they're the ones I'd have the most time in.
-
I think that's great if you can play like that and "have a life".. Guess I never tought how many days of my life I spent playing.
-
I paid $10 for Thai food and I played the toilet for 1 hour. No regrets.
-
...but wasn't that repetitive???
-
Not at all. It came all at once in a big group. Like the "We awoken the Hive" on the moon. Started with a huge knight and ened in a messy Thrall zerg. Only difference is that I didnt die, but finished the mission.
-
I almost cried laughing at this!
-
did you win?
-
It was a tough fight, but I won. The drops were sadly only shit. Literally.
-
I like you, you made me chuckle heartily.
-
Did you get any purples or blues? My bet is you just got green drops.
-
I would feel embarrassed to say I put less then 1000 hours on Diablo 3 lol your gear must not be that great takes at least 1 to 2k hours to have good enough gear for mp10 farm
-
It's funny how you're speaking as if you know anything about Diablo 3, yet you apparently have no idea that MP10 isn't even a thing anymore...
-
I think your priorities are a bit -blam!-ed.
-
Have you ever played that game called "Get a Life?"
-
No. What is it?
-
Spot on lol
-
The real question here, is if you didn't enjoy Destiny and only gripe about it, why the flip did you put 100 hours into it?
-
No other games to play at the time... friends kept playing it and wanted me to help them with stuff... you know, the usual crap.
-
I don't understand this mentality. There is no other game to play so I'll play a game I don't like. Let's apply this to life. There is no other person to have sex with so I'll have sex with a zebra. Does that make sense?
-
That is one of the dumbest analogies I've seen posted in a long time. A more appropriate one would be "there's nothing interesting to watch on tv, so I guess I'll put on the news..." Or perhaps "I'm bored and don't like playing this game, but my friends are playing it and I have nothing better to do..." Well, that second one isn't really an analogy I guess...

Edited by SFXtreme3: 10/30/2014 6:13:23 PMYes... It is dumb. That is why I used it. Do you fail to see the point? There is nothing interesting to watch on tv, so I'll watch the news. There is nothing human to screw on this island, so I'll screw a duck. You determine something is not good then choose to do something within the not good thing.

How old are you?
