Your ghost is the AI War Mind known as Rasputin I can see Rasputin hacking into the Vex and turning them to protect humanity since their "brain" is now gone. Has anybody noticed that the mission where you find the Traveler's shard is on the moon.. How did it get there? My theory is that the Traveler while fighting the darkness scraped the moon and managed put those big gashes which in turn is why the traveler is damaged from the bottom as your looking at it from the tower..
