You're forgetting to factor in the cost of the console, internet connection, XBL subscription, electricity to power the console, the TV I'm playing on, amortized payments on the house I play the game from, the food and beer I've consumed while playing, not to mention the actual opportunity cost of the time lost playing this game only to realize that it is a steaming turd compared to the game we were promised.
Using your logic, Bungie owes me about $3,237.85.

I thought it was funny..

Holy -blam!- people, it was a joke. Lighten up, Francis.
-
that is the weakest calculation i ever seen . beer n stuff tv or internet u still pay for those anyhow with w/e you do. and you buy console cuz you want it bot just for a game
-
I don't think it's Bungie's job to rationalize your console purchase so this comment makes no sense...
-
Game you were promised? When did they promise you anything? Everything in this game was known and available for you to know had you looked. You paid for something you thought was something else, that is on you. Not anyone else.
-
Everything was known? Really? You KNEW that the strikes would be repetitive? You KNEW that the Iron Banner wasn't actually going to be gear/stat based? You KNEW that you had to farm spirit blooms over and over and over again? You KNEW that the story would be shallow, pointless, and told on the back of online cards? You're full of shit. Very little was actually known about this game. There were no pre-launch reviews. We were advertised to, and this game falls far short of the advertising. You can continue to suckle contently at Bungie's teat for $20 a pop if you'd like. It really won't bother me either way. But if you continue to pretend like Bungie sold you exactly what they advertised, you're deluding yourself.

If you thought that strikes were not going to be repetitive then you are very ignorant of games. The iron banner I will concede because no one expected that, even still. Yes anyone who played the alpha or beta or read about them knew you would need to farm materials for upgrades. The story is far from shallow and as for pointless all stories in all games are pointless. Nothing that was advertised is wrong. With the exception of the iron banner. Find something they actually advertised and wasn't just speculation or work in progress dev videos. Then I would be more than happy to concede everything.

I don't even have the time to tell you why I don't have the time to tell you why your opinion shows that you clearly have a low threshold for enjoyment, and you represent the lowest common mental denominator of players.

I would go after the breweries. It's partially the beer's fault that you aren't having as much fun as you could. They possibly cut alcohol content that was originally in the beer.
-
Very astute observation.
-
lol Who the -blam!- spends that much on one Game?
-
Lol well if the only reason u got a system and Internet was for destiny then sure factor them in .. But idk if you can justify factoring in opportunity cost unless your skipping work days for this game
