Divide your cost by playtime
This is for Everyone saying this game or the DLC isn't worth the money... Divide your cost by your playtime in hours and you'll get what this game cost you per hour... If you actually played all the content including completion of the raid atleast once, there's no way you can even argue it wasn't worth it.. I see people always complaining its not enough content for the cost, but if you actually played all the content there's no way you paid more then a buck per hour of fun lol.. What the hell kinda game spoiled all of you..
EDIT: some are saying that there 200+ hours of playtime don't count because they didn't have fun during it..... You guys make my brain hurt lol
EDIT: So.. Apparently some may be forced to play against there will .. In this case please don't use the simple formula because it won't work for you..
PS: I'm really sorry that this is happening to you I didn't realize that there was some kind of sick slavery ring where people are forced to play games against there will..

I don't feel cheated one bit, but other people may feel they have so it doesn't matter if you try to argue or not.

Damn...some people have a lot of time to play games o.o this post makes me wonder whether any game has been worth It for me. It takes me a couple months to reach the hours some people log in 1 month. But I can't say I judge the worth of a game through hours of playtime. Using mathematical equations to judge the quality of a game seems a little ridiculous to me, but hey, to each his/her own.

6 RepliesHere's the thing that we all need to understand. Destiny is not a service, it is a video game. You are not paying a monthly subscription where it actually matters the amount of time you play in the game. You pay for Destiny once, and you then have access to all of it's content, full stop. This whole fallacy that Price=Playtime is incorrect and only encourages further corporate bullshit. When you put 60 dollars down on a game, you are paying for the content that the game provides unless otherwise stated.

4 RepliesI get what you are saying, but I think a better indicator would be to count the hours of unique gameplay. To calculate: Figure out how long it took you to complete the story once, with only 1 character. Bounties, strikes and raids once. Basically eliminate everything you had to repeat over and over to more accurately see what content actually falls under the expense.

Yea i got my money's worth in the first week. I still the game is fun as hell and I've got one character to 30 and a second who just needs some goddamn ascendant shards to get there. Also I'm stocked for the new DLC.

I only payed £20 (something) for it at Tescos with vouchers. When I bought it the original price was £40 on xbox 360 but I had a 10% voucher which was quadrupled for 40%. :-) yay! And money well spent.

I have fun still, I have played this as much as I played Skyrim and a fraction of how much I played the old final fantasy games. Yes it has flaws, but what game doesn't? People are way less tolerant and way more self entitled these days. I got my money out of this title and I will get my money out of the DLC as well. Because the feedback and outrage from this game will make Destiny 2 that much more of a game. Stay on target bitches. If ya'll got burnout, take a break and come back after both DLC's launch and a few patches roll out. Should be more of a game, if not, you will know about it. Plus it will likely be bundled for cheaper when you're done bitching on another forum about whatever other game you will playing in 6 months.

I have already purchased the DLC when I bought the Limited Ed. So I will be here for the long haul. Been playing MMO style games for many years and the game is worth the money. Lets face it most MMO either charge u a monthly fee or u pay to play the good shit. This game is a one time fee and Then if u want to cont. playing you buy DLC. I spent allot of money on games that lasted 20-30 hrs and I'm sure most of u have also and where perfectly happy.
