Divide your cost by playtime
This is for Everyone saying this game or the DLC isn't worth the money... Divide your cost by your playtime in hours and you'll get what this game cost you per hour... If you actually played all the content including completion of the raid atleast once, there's no way you can even argue it wasn't worth it.. I see people always complaining its not enough content for the cost, but if you actually played all the content there's no way you paid more then a buck per hour of fun lol.. What the hell kinda game spoiled all of you..
EDIT: some are saying that there 200+ hours of playtime don't count because they didn't have fun during it..... You guys make my brain hurt lol
EDIT: So.. Apparently some may be forced to play against there will .. In this case please don't use the simple formula because it won't work for you..
PS: I'm really sorry that this is happening to you I didn't realize that there was some kind of sick slavery ring where people are forced to play games against there will..

3 RepliesA couple hundred hours' worth of my time was worth $60. Hundreds more doing the same stuff over and over isn't going to happen, and this DLC is going to be just that. I was hyped into the Expansion Pass from the Limited Edition. No more. Unless there are serious additions, I'm out.

All I can say is that I'm playing Destiny because I have nothing better to play right now. I'm waiting for COD and Halo. I'd also like to pick up the new Assassins creed and Sunset overdrive but those games will have to wait until late november.

$60 for 256 hours, roughly 25 cents per hour. I'll be buying the DLC. Honestly I can say the only time I didn't enjoy playing was the couple of seconds of disappointment when RNG screws me occasionally.

Agree with you on the standard game playtime. Cost of DLC + play time not so much though. The strikes and PvP maps will be interesting for like 3 runs each. The story will be like an additional hour or two of play. And like the normal game, I won't has the friends or solid blocks of time to do the raid. So for me it works out as like 8h max of 'new' play time added on to the existing game. Therefore not worth it for me personally unfortunately

I come to these forums to read constructive feedback and discussion about a game I enjoy, but, almost two months after release, they're still awash with bile from people who obviously loathe all things to do with Destiny. When are they going to move on? Is Destiny getting special treatment or do they respond in the same way to every high-profile game that doesn't live up to their expectations? How do they have the time, and what on earth is the point?

1 ReplyGo play diablo 3 if you want a dungeon grinder honestly 35$ so you can run 5 more strikes until another 6 months when the second dlc drops? Then grind that experience from endless bountys (more like chores) guardians! Or return destiny and pay $10 for a dungeon grinder that has different maps/difficulties/mobs every time and isnt boring as shit and guess what, dlc is free with expansion copy! ($40 on ps store for bundle)

Divide your cost of nothing else to play by the time table of games released each year multiplied by the fact you may not like all genres divided by how stupid play time is a justified answer for anything. For instance. I fell asleep playing in crucible last night but added about 5 hours sitting in orbit while sucking my thumb. Did I enjoy 5 hours? Nope lmfao.

91 hours played so far. £150 for the Ghost edition. Which I make as £1.65 per hour. First two expansions are included in the price. I play on a PS4 so get all the exclusives too. Conclusion: Yay!

This game was showcased as "something cool" during the reveal way back when and people gravitated towards some the elements like space travel, aliens, hight tech stuff and last but not least a freaking interesting story oh eff the multiplayer I'll Halos MCC is gonna shit on it am I right?So yeah we ponied up the money on the hopes that Bungie known for Halo and it's good story telling would deliver that but in another universe. We got the game and the gameplay is the shit but the story blows donkey dick. There are hints at a sweet story, but you have to go online...to read it...GTFOH Bungie and now we only get 3 story missions? The f***?! Now what WILL happen is that these pubescent turds are gonna buy said DLC because their too dumb to understand and lo and behold more pay to read story parts will be released in the future. Way to go Bungie, eff over the people that wanted a good story, something meaningful to go along with the game and for the money that was spent on it I would of thought there would of been plenty of cinematics...yeah right lol what a joke on that department. The story is garbage so I'm not holding my breath for the DLC. The DLC is going to answer shit, but more questions will arise and maybe they'll be answered in the following DLC lol. it could simply be there is nothing better to play right now, so we are stuck playing Destiny. that all changes in just over a week from now though.
