Some should. Others it would be weird. For example the last word being the old style hand cannon it is should just do kinetic damage.

That's just what I was thinking. I have The Last Word, and I like it just the way it is, truth be told... but what about the others? What about Arc damage on the SUROS Regime? Or Void damage on Bad Juju?
-
I would say solar on suros, arc on hard light, and keep Athens epilogue with the void so you have all 3. Thorn should def be void and mida would be cool as an arc scout, with bad juju as void and red death as solar
-
I completely forgot about the MIDA. Arc damage would be cool to have on that weapon.

Edited by Dingse3: 10/28/2014 7:41:59 AMIf attribute damage ever gets attached to the Regime, the weapon would need another nerf unfortunately, for PvP at least, otherwise it would become the only primary ever used in the Crucible, and its not far from that now - Solar on the Red Death would be rad though :)

You do realize that Solar, Arc, and Void damage mean absolutely nothing in PvP? Even in Iron Banner, they have no effect, as Guardians don't seem to have any special shield types, regardless of class. So SUROS Regime wouldn't need another nerf. Adding special damage would only affect PvE.

Edited by Dingse3: 10/28/2014 7:41:20 AMbut the damage carries with you in those moments you dart in cover to regen. Same deal as a Hunters fire throwing knife, Nova splash etc, it all has affects

Edited by Aurik Kal Durin: 10/28/2014 10:25:46 AMNo, they don't. Solar weapons can't set you on fire in the Crucible OR Iron Banner. Solar, Void, and Arc damage have no special effects in PvP when it comes to weapons; only with your abilities are any special effects applied. Check your facts. I've run into people using Raid weapons like Atheon's Epilogue (Void damage) and the Raid scout rifle (Solar damage), I've even used these guns myself, and when it comes to the Crucible, there's nothing special about them.
