i would just like 2 know how much is the legendary map pack is going 2 be and when is it coming out because i like the heroic 1s but i want the legendary cause i love halo it is awesome

Well I hope you all can enjoy them. But, for us that CAN NOT get high speed internet or XBOX live, we can only wait until Bungie and Microsoft get off their butts and put these mpas on a disk to buy. Will there, or will there not, be some sort of elevated walking path around the edge of the map? Teleporters/mancannons to accelerate the walking?

well... i spent the microsoft points for the new maps before i knew they were ganna be free is there any chance of getting a refund? or possably getting the legendary maps free?

well i think that the dlc option is going to be replaced with the new dlc and the rest will blend and every one will have to download the maps of the heroic dlc to play normal play lists anyhow.

That was my point exactly. What incentive is there to purchase the new maps when all and sundry can just hang about for a few months and get them for free. I am a massive fan of halo (Not going to get into a "who is the biggest fan" ;o) ) and yes I bought the maps. Like you, I found that few people took it up and therefore I have used the extra content very little. Not that this would prevent me spending more money on the extra maps.

totally agree with vaders comments,i bet half the so called halo fans who post on this forum did not even buy the dlc when it came out,every time i played the new maps,there was only about 1500 if you were luky,feck i even remember that there was only 500 one night,so whats the point of drooling over the legendry maps since most of you know,your actually to tight to buy them.but wooohoooo dlc is free now, fekin yeah all the tightarses come out and play,,,true halo fans my arse.

Its like in every bungie update, the flood forum, the halo3 forums, just everywhere. And Im not whining. Im SO tired of people who are being such a pain in the ass about not only the heroic map packs free situation but also the Recon armor and bringing back SWAT/SNIPER playlists. There is no need to swear/cuss/denigrate others that have an opinion that differs to yours. From the posts I have read, no one is complaining that the maps are going to be free (People that have paid are not even complaining), people are complaining that it undermines consumer confidence and therefore will have an impact on the sales of future Map packs. The Bungie dev team are doing a fantastic job, shame about the marketing and bean counters member of staff. At the end of the day we are all just consumers of the Bungie/Microsoft products and as a result, said customers have the right to an opinion regardless of what you think. Another point to make is that if you are going to ask people not to whine in your oh so eloquent manor, please refrain from doing so yourself as this negates the very point you are trying to make.
