This should of been asked a while ago. The first moment I stepped onto Destiny Beta, I was greeted by 3 classes. I immediately chose the Hunter because of how badass the customisation was.
What about you? Why did you choose your class?:)
EDIT: I'm seeing a lot of Hunters here guys!
Keep em' coming!
EDIT: This post is almost a year old!!! Shout out to all the year 1 players

Warlock. I always loved magic and wizardy. So I love the ones who weild the power of magic as well, abd nobody knows what's actually going on in a Warlock's mind. They are really smart. But... They are also a little crazy. :-)
-
Space magic
-
Titan. I like the play as the Warrior/Tank class and it fitted my playstyle the most by far.
-
Hunter, because I've always been a fan of the rogue class. I loved Dishonored, and Thief, and in Skyrim I always focused on stealth and roguish abilities mainly. It made a ton of sense to be a Hunter. Still am.
-
Picked the Warlock because liked the Robe it had at the time.
-
I picked the Warlock because I usually choose mage classes in mmos. Seemed the closest.
-
Because in D&D I always played a magic user and the warlock is obviously the magic user (hunter=thief, titan=fighter)
-
The Titan looked like a tank and I thought it was really good
-
Space magic
-
Hunter sounded cool
-
The hood
-
Keeping out in the wild, lone wolf. Hunter
-
Cause space magic, duh!
-
I chose warlock cuz of me being a nerd and all
-
I wanted to go Hunter for looks. love cloaks. then again I like bullrushing so why not a titan? Chose warlock. I can throw space bombs? I am the Phoenix. I'm the damn sun throwing, sticky tagging phoenix. yass

I originally chose the Titan thinking it would be a tank taking substantial damage for your team. I figured the warlock would have a support role relying on powers while the hunter would snipe. I like heavy weapons and shotguns with auto rifles and figured I could survive up close engagements with risk reward weapons like shotguns. Then reality set in where I was getting cut down before my buddy who was wearing a robe and had to stay back and hide a lot in order to survive. I never felt like the tank I envisioned originally but this was all way back at launch and since then I am just used to the play style I had to accommodate in order to play efficiently.

Warlock, no reason other than I thought he looked the coolest, and who doesn't want to be a space wizard??
-
SPACE MAGIC
-
I chose titan because I always play warrior/heavy armor type classes.
-
I picked my titan first, then switched to a hunter after a few months, then switched back to my titan after TTK
-
Leveled them all up to about level 10-15 the release week of last year so I could judge a little better and I've mained warlock since lol. The deciding factors were the nova bomb ( didn't even know of the OPness of sunsinger), I loved palming people in the face as my melee(it reminded me of the "Should've had a V8." commercials) and believe it or not the final thing was it was my favorite jump xD.
-
Hunter, because I felt like it. I played warlock in the beta but wasn't hugely impressed with it. And Titan didn't really appeal to me from a design standpoint. To much the heavy knight, I prefer the wizard/rogue characters most of the time.
-
Because titans looked the best in my opnion and in the beta they were fun to use
-
Warlock because i want all the power, and i got it ;)

Edited by Xyther: 11/6/2015 5:36:24 PMWarlock because mages are OP. Now i see that Toland was the most badass warlock of all with his magic and enchantments. The way eris morn teleported us away using tolands tricks. So badass. My cousin also picked the other 2 class so i picked warlock as well.

Titan because they looked like tanky dudes
