This should of been asked a while ago. The first moment I stepped onto Destiny Beta, I was greeted by 3 classes. I immediately chose the Hunter because of how badass the customisation was.
What about you? Why did you choose your class?:)
EDIT: I'm seeing a lot of Hunters here guys!
Keep em' coming!
EDIT: This post is almost a year old!!! Shout out to all the year 1 players

The first time I played I chose a Titan. I knew nothing about the game and beat the story line. I quit playing after that, but my brother told me about exotics, and that there were other classes and subclasses. Ever since then I've mained as a Hunter and eventually got the point of the game. I also have a titan and warlock in reserve, but I hardly use them
-
My cousin told me to
-
Be me: >Gets Destiny. >Is very excited. >Gamer gf comes over. >Puts in destiny. >Passes the time of downloading by playing Halo >Finally downloads. >Looks through classes. Gf:I'm probably gonna go hunter. Me:Nice but stop spoiling I wanna see all of em. >Sees Titan. Is disappointed. >Sees Hunter. Is less disappointed but still disappointed. >Sees Warlock. "HOLY SHIT! SPACE MAGIC?! BITCH IM SOLD!!! >Gf almost dies of laughter.

Titan. Because everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.
-
Hunter - Great for PvP / Not that great in PvE Warlock - Great for PvE / Not that great inPvP Titan was the in-between character. The back bone of the Gaurdians. Defenders of the week. Striking the image of our beloved Traveller into our enemies like a broken sun. Of course best race to go with that was a cyborg (halfbreed).
-
I always wanted to be the guardian of the group. The guy that can take the hits for himself and take the hits for others. If anyone was going to go down, it was going to be me. I've loved medieval times for a long time and loved knights and chivalry. To be the knight I wanted to be (protect others and still get up close and personal to inflict large damage) why not pick a Titan. If you have the will to protect others, and you will run in front of the enemy to block the shots for your teammates, the Titan is the class for you.

Love the Hunter aspect of everything. Once I saw Golden Gun I was hooked
-
I picked warlock because space magic
-
I didn't play on day one but more like day two or three and to be honest I chokse a Hunter but over time of using all three I have a identaty crisis in the fact that I cant figure out which class is for me
-
Titan seemed too slow for me, and another friend of mine had dibs on Warlock. Hunter master race.
-
Didn't play the beta but I did buy the game a week later on release. I chose titan cause I wanted to be different then everyone else. After a couple days played as a titan I made the warlock. Fell in love with him ever since I used angle of light with NLB. Hunters just such to me. I barely play with them. And it just sitting in my guardian slot looking cool.
-
Hunter I liked customizing my characters a lot, and the hunter's armor looked pretty cool Golden Gun was amazing for me
-
Hunter because I liked the idea at first. Then warlock, then titan. Warlock & titan are my faves now. Hunter is fun though.
-
I didn't choose the warlock, it chose me.
-
Titan because 1. I liked their armor 2. Punching is fun 3. I shit myself when I first saw fist of havoc
-
Warlock because I likes magic users in games and also because a person was at my house and said, "Hunters are terrible in PVP." I was so gullible
-
Warlock before I got the game I'd watch dpj vids on YouTube and he seemed to have fun with it I also did research on all classes and decided that it was best for my play style I use all three classes now warlock hunter Titan in that order
-
Titan. Always played raid tanks in EQ and EQ2. Felt natural to play one at the start of Destiny, even knowing there wasn't a "true tank" or "holy Trinity". I play all three classes now but the Titan is my favorite and still my main. Defender being my subclass of choice for both pve and pvp.
-
Warloc... The least gory class.
-
Titan because of how much of a Halo fan I am. Back in beta I saw the Titan and immediately picked it.
-
Titan since I always pick the tank or fighter class in these games but I later mained a hunter
-
Hunter because of being the lone wolf style of life. Oh and capes
-
A cape.
-
Titan because I am fairly blunt in how I do things.

I was drawn to warlock because of the recovery aspect. I've always played the character that has a very rounded ability. I'd rather not have just armor or recovery or agility. The warlock was the best all around imo
