This should of been asked a while ago. The first moment I stepped onto Destiny Beta, I was greeted by 3 classes. I immediately chose the Hunter because of how badass the customisation was.
What about you? Why did you choose your class?:)
EDIT: I'm seeing a lot of Hunters here guys!
Keep em' coming!
EDIT: This post is almost a year old!!! Shout out to all the year 1 players

Since I first heard about destiny I wanted to be a Titian. I was so convinced on that when beta came by I choose Titian and customized my character. But then I though about it. 5 min later I backed out and choose warlock. Why? Because space magic and I didn't quite like FoH

Got the game in week one. I went with titan because I liked their look and usually go for the warrior/tank class in games first, and I thought the class would have more of an effect on gameplay.
-
I was not beta, I was "day 3". I went with Titan because it simply sounded cool. I mean seriously, if you knew nothing about the game, doesn't "Titan" sound the coolest. How many people would say, "oh no I wanted to be a warlock".
-
Always choose stealth, tricky characters so this time I went for something different, picked my lock in year one, still my main now.
-
I actually thought about it until I saw that fiery hand cannon go to work. Then I was set on hunter. Since then I've become a more balanced player across the three classes but hunter will always be my first
-
I hunt in real life, and enjoy the outdoors. So a hunter was the obvious choice for me.
-
I started in beta as a Titan cause it seemed like most like a Spartan but then I tried the hunter and the jump I fell in love with instantly have been loving it since
-
I always play rogue type classes in any game that has them.
-
I chose a hunter because I wanted a gun.
-
Hunter in beta because I've always mained stealth/agile/tricky classes in games.
-
I went with a Titan as I liked killzone which feels realistic kind of heavy and human I figured a Titan would be the same
-
Got destiny about a week before ttk cane out. Chose warlock because space magic.

Edited by Webskull: 11/6/2015 12:06:41 PMI choose Hunters because I usually play the rogue class in games that have classes. Also, when I looked at the subclasses of each class, Gunslinger (which is still my favorite) sounded sooo badass compared to the others.
-
I chose warlock. I liked the force push and I liked the supers. I like the robes the warlock gets too, I thought they looked pretty sick.
-
Warlock because in every other game I chose magic classes and a warlock is the closest I can get.
-
Warlock because they are simply op

I never really wanted destiny. But it came with my ps4. I figured I would play it. But since I didn't want destiny, I didn't really know anything about it. And of course me being me I didn't read anything about the classes. I picked hunter because someone I follow on Instagram picked a hunter. I thought it must've been good if she picked it. Now almost a year later I still play that hunter.
-
Warlock because Magic :D
-
Warlock because ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
I choose titan because i though it would be a tank like character and only created another character almost at the end of year one to get more supplies
-
I choose titan because i like the heavy armour and many people including friends where saying they will go warlock or hunter and that kinda ruin it for me, so i went with titan and never regret it once.
-
Capes, man
-
Went Warlock. I have a log tradition of games with wizards/warlocks so it was just the natural choice. I thought there might be a bit more "magic" involved but pretty soon realised that at the end of the day it's all about shooting guns and it doesn't really matter which one you choose (except for the Hunter and the inability to make jumps until you got The Bones of Eao!)
-
Ever since I saw the First Trailer for Destiny I knew I wanted to be the Character that sported the Trench Coat. Alas...I chose the Warlock - still my main since Beta.
-
I chose a Titan. Why? To punch things both alive and inanimate
-
I chose a titan because it fitted my general play style I.e. Tanking, support, protection and I like chunky armor that looks like armor not cloth
