Legitimate viewpoint to have, but remember to think about how the game is formatted. Daily heroic story and vanguard bounties for exp in pve. The game is based around maintaining a level progress that players can keep up with easily on a day to day basis. You start putting in something that can be grinded endlessly for rewards you now put the "casual" player at a massive disadvantage. Before you jump on me for defending casuals, you should know I'm a pretty hardcore player myself. But anyone who's played other mmo type games can see how much effort Bungie put into making sure that a skilled player with only maybe a dozen hours of playtime a week can keep up with even the most hardcore random pouring that many hours into the game a day.

  • Well the thing about hard core gamers getting ahead is a mute point with no trade system and really a 1 lvl advantage from 29 to 30? Letting people do raid multiple times a week would have only 1 down side people getting what they want and nothing to look forward to so at best time based system is for there sake not ours.

  • However every mmo has this type of content. Farming mats, gold, tradeskills, heroic dungeons, Etc We have a level 24 strike list that is soloable , and caps on everything so there is no reason to login after dailies. I ran the raid this morning even though I got no rewards just to help friends. It would be nice if we could at least get rep for kills wearing a faction item in the raid.

  • also the story already seems like a horde mode already.

  • I'm not going to jump on you. I understand exactly what you're saying. I think Fenborg (see below) put it best: "It doesn't have to be anything Monumental, just a little something to chew on while we wait for the weekly refresh."
