Having fun is an exploit

Bungie needs to focus on actual bugs/glitches

Vot Raid exploits are the real problem

Bungie can do no wrong!!!

We all have heard of the hotpatches to fix some "exploits." Now i don't think bungie fully understands what is and isn't an exploit. I'm not saying everything they've fixed isn't an exploit. Pushing aetheon off the edge is an exploit, I don't disagree with fixing that. But such things as the goblin platforms, loot caves, and the "glitch" of aethon sending everyon in the back to the away team. These my friend are not exploits, basic tatics used in any MMO. But I digress this article is not ment to debate whether or not these things are exploits. What I want to highlight is what bungie has decided to fix, before anything else. Now again as we see in the aformentioned "exploits" bungie has chosen to fix very spefic "glitches/cheats" whilst simultaneously ignoring some of the soul crushing ones. Let's start out with the raid first. As many of you know, and have probably experinced first hand; their are many glitches that can be round enders for a raid run. The first that come to mind the confluxes when goblins decided to teleport instantly to the confluxs. Why hasn't this been addressed? Or maybe when aetheon glitches out teleports only two people, sometimes only one? Or his lovely rarely seen invinciblity during time's vengance? Also am I the only one that remembers bungie stated expressly that there would be a "hardmode" set of armor? Simply put bungie has decided to ignore "exploits" that hinder the players, in favor of fixing "exploits" that make are in favor of the player. But let us move onto more evidence away from the vault of glass There are many items and effects in the game that are said to have "effects." A great deal of them work maybe 25% of the time and the others don't work at all. Take the grimoire cards for example. The "kills in {insert zone name} rank III" are said to grant the player double the material rewards from nodes. Has that worked for anyone? The only grimoire card bonuses that seem to actually work as of our current situtation are the enemy cards. Which grant a nominal bonus at best. Moving back to weapon effects take any handful of exotic weapons, Icebreaker comes to mind. The "icebreaker effect" states that enemies killed with icebreaker explode. I see this effect proc maybe every one out of eight times. Though should I even bring the fact that the explosation is so small it rarely ever hits anything let alone does any sort of damage? Even more the "monte carlo" doesn't actually seem speed up melee cool down. "The Truth's" "handgrenades and horseshoe's" works for some indivuals and other's not all. I could go on an on about the effects that have no effects. In the end it is becoming apparent that bungie is fixing things that they don't like, and ignoring player concerns. Those "exploits" in the raid, that's par for MMO's. The LootCave, there will always be grind spots in MMO's. What I wanna know is when bungie is going to stop trying to fix things players enjoy, and start fixing real problems in the game?
