I played Control and just camped with a Void fusion rifle and Void machine gun. Also, playing as a Voidwalker counts too, I think? Pretty sure. I tend to rush a lot because I hate sitting still for any amount of time ingame, so it was hard keeping myself crouched and waiting for the enemy to run into my radar. The Crucible part of the bounty took me about a day. :( Just wait for the very last phase. It's amazing. :((((

This. As a Hunter, I had to rely on a Void machine gun (and sometimes, but not often, a Void sniper rifle or fusion rifle). Pay attention to heavy ammo drops, grab them, and go to town. Probably the best match type is Control. Pick the control point that isn't in the middle (usually A or C) and kill anything that shows up.
