I think you and other like minded players just don't know how to use the guns to their full potential. There are very few, if any, guns in the game that dominate all situations (pvp,pve, close quarters, long range, yellow enemies, shielded enemies, etc etc). I have found every exotic to be more useful than ur standard purple u find at the tower (not including RNG loot drops because those weapons are luck based). For example, thorn, good against shielded enemies on mars (bullets still damage them through their shields), the invective is good against most wizards (not yellow) and captains as well as servitors and minotaur that get close plus it regenerates ammo so u will never run out of special ammo, the pocket infinity is just down right beastly in a lot of different situations including the ones above, in fact I've destroy vex users every time I face them with my pocket. The bad juju is a weapon for weak enemies with overwhelming numbers (think thrall and drags), the super good advice isn't supposed to be used like other machine guns because it essentially has unlimited ammo( thus u can lay down the best suppression fire, and the reload goes high so ur supposed to just spray, which I'm pretty sure will be my go to machine gun in pvp and pve when I unlock the returned ammo feat. I grow tired of the misinformed and inexperienced trying to make every weapon look either OP or UP. Exotic means unique, so use each exotic in their optimal situation. He'll u can even tailor ur armor to make ur exotics even better (i.e faster reload for hand cannon, more ammo for heavy, etc etc. Plz guys stop this buff and nerf shit. It never ends well.
