Two things you can try. I had the same problem. First test the game on a direct connection from your ISP modem. That way your connection type will be 1. If that works you can leave it or if your like me I need that router in play. I chose to put my router back in the equation. So I set my static DMZ in place. From there I went to portforward.com . it will ask you what game system and what router after that. It will walk you through the steps to open the ports for your game system. Once completed my test was getting back on the game and playing for 40 minuets straight. That double my longest time with connections issues. So far so good here.
