***IMPORTNAT UPDATE*** VERIFIED FIX!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bungie is simply too friggin slow or they just don't give a crud. Either way, if you want something done right do it yourself. Got together with a software buddies and here's WHAT BUNGIE ISN'T TELLING YOU: Something in each update has been in essence nerfing different sorts of wireless routers through a sloppy bit of code written by someone who probably needed more sleep or is just completely incompetent. If the game HAD been working fine for you up until the last update like me, then you probably also have a newer model Netgear Wi-Fi Router just as I do. I was even plugged into the router VIA ETHERNET!!!! Still the zebra's came a calling. We looked at code and some other stuff before realizing they had been inadvertently nerfing different sorts of wireless routers. HERE'S THE FIX: Plug your xbox one directly into the modem, and cut out the wi-fi router middle man. If you're like me and your modem has only one ethernet out port, do what I did. I bought a simple ethernet hub, plugged that into the modem, and now none's going through any middleman. Destiny works better than ever now! Bungie- Grow some competency in your customer service division, and get this fix out to everyone who needs it.   • I have bypassed my router snd connected to my modem via hard wire. Still same errors. It is a network error between destiny servers and my ISP. Comcast shows no drops. Poorly coded networks on bungies part.

      My disconnects got better since I forwarded my ports. The problem still is there, but is far less predictable. Sometimes it's 5 mins someone it's hours now. It's a shame it's gotten to a point where I gotta do that. I paid 200 dollars for my router that's designed for gaming and streaming. A DMZ should be all you need for gaming. Direct port opening seems a bit extreme for gaming.

      • I don't think any of those poll votes are accurate for what has happened to us. It's [b][i][u]MY[/u][/i][/b] internet that is messing up.. I'm just trying to resolve my own issues now instead of relying on other humans to do my bidding. Keep researching online and arm yourself with the correct knowledge so you know the appropriate actions to take when needed.

      • lmfao.. bungie has already release your fix out to the public way before you did. they reccommend that you hardwire your connection to maintain a solid stream of enternet.. and not having spikes of good and bad..

            • I'm on ps4 and i get zebra and caterpillar and also random disconnects without any error it just goes to ps4 main menu and asks to report the problem... Its so frustrating, Bungie you are really pushing it and you guys are slow as hell in fixing stuff. I have never played a game that has somany problems as your game. Congrats?

            • I havn't been able too get past the destiny sign in page for a week now. tried everyday and keep getting either zebra or cattle. I don't play on a wireless connection, there's nothing wrong with my connection. what the -blam!- is the point in buying a game if you literally can't play it at all.             • I posted this in a reply on the zebra error page, like if you agree. "P.S. there is absolutely no reason whatsoever for this game to require an online connection. 90% of the material could be played offline and then require the player to connect only when going to tower to buy stuff. When I want to multiplayer, I am glad to sign on, but when I'm grinding towards a quest.. unacceptable to erase 3 hours of my life, or counting all three character 9 hours of my life for no reason. Don't expect me to buy HALO 5 at this rate either."

                I had that issue as far back as Halo 3. I bought a hub then, haven't had connection issues since. At least not on my end.
