So I was thinking about the shotgun problem in pvp. It does suck getting killed by a shotty ten feet away. It also sucks being zapped off across the map from a fusion rifle or being hit once in the leg by a sniper rifle.
Anyway instead of Nerfing all this stuff and spending months balancing it all out and potentially ruining our guns for pve content why not come at it a different way. Less special ammo caches. Also when you die you start out with maybe 2 shots, it should not be what you had before you died. Everyone starts the match with 5-8 shots and from there you collect the ammo boxes when they appear. This way it would add an urgency and people would be less likely to go spaying bullets everywhere because they may end up in a spot where they actually need them.

Edited by Julio: 10/24/2014 12:59:13 AMThere is a bit much. I know this isn't halo but when I played matchmaking, shotguns and snipers were considered power weapons. They took a while to respawn and it was on a first come, first serve basis.
Or you could have just killed your teammate and take their weapon.
