Mmmmm bad and boring, the point of random drop is to be random, period. Changes are always polemic. The leveling system is only light based, you need 21 lights points to get lvl 20 or 21 don't remember, and 11 extra lights per level to reach level 30. Is the same leveling system, just adjusted for the 10 extra levels.
Yes, is story lacking, but there is hope to get more history over time.
To much enfasis in PVP because, is their first nature element. A flaw, but can be fixed, and already on going.
random/arbitrary drop and "slim" is because if you get all the items and weapons on the first two month, more whinners will be crying that they got all the game has to offer in only two months, "what a boring game".
All your "PROS" were about, how pretty neaty the concept is, oh and public events, where you can se like six random people together if lucky enough.

We get 4 story missions, 2 strikes, a raid and a nightfall in the next dlc. Oh, 5 more PvP maps tho! So exciting....
-
And in the mean time you don't know if next events will bring more history within.

Edited by BIGBoOTYLOTTERY: 10/24/2014 12:53:39 AMHahaha like the story line the last 2 events have added to the game? Don't be naive. On their track record, it really does take additional payments in order to discover more story, which a large portion is given in collectable cards. This game was dumbed down for young players because they will be here in 10 years. It doesn't have a deep story because kids can't get into that and it has rng so kids who can't compete with the grown ups get the same chance at level progression as the trained adults. They're also more likely to have dlc bought for them by their parents.

You can't expect every event to have a piece of histoy, besides, it's not even two months old. The problem here is that the Game put things really easy. There're players who already 30s in all chars, and mostly all of exotics. This can be fixed if the deliver more superior gear and weapons, that cannot be obtained so easy. Content is matter of time. If waiting maybe three months is to much for you, then maybe this is not your type of game. You can't expect to get more content in a weekly basis. New content take months to arrive. And in my opinion that new content should be challenging not so easy that a bunch of people can defeat it in less than one day.

4 missions, two strikes, one raid and one nightfall mission is what's coming in the dlc, that's not going to be enough to solve any of the plots holes since launch.

Just making challenges take longer for rewards is bad game design. The only solution to this game is for the developers to make their focus on pve and replay ability. Mobs are predictable more so than in last gen halo games. Bosses are giant versions of regular mobs. Classes don't make a whole lot of difference in gameplay unless it's PvP. Queens wrath was just playing the same missions for purples with a breakdown value of blues. Iron banner was regular PvP with very minor bonuses to stats, which fairly benefited titans most. Now what are they going to do? Actually let us race on tracks the planet's obviously have laid out? Or maybe we can rehash missions for the 7 sariphs. From their track record so far, they haven't done anything as innovative as we anticipated. Remember the n64? It was tailored to kids and teens. Those games had more content and more story than this game. Its nothing they have done or will do will be mind blowing like we anticipated.

It seems you have no place here, no hope for good things to come, then why are you still here? Bashing and hating is really boring. Unless that's what fill you.

Have you ever thought that protesting loudly gets better results than boycotting quietly?
-
Nah, neither, I like the game, nothing to protest/boycott for me. And if it gets better, I'll cherish that.
