The Suros Regime wasn't nerfed enough with the rest of the assault rifles.
Let's consider the facts: Bungie still thinks this weapon is overpowered. This is good. Fortune is with us all.
It'd be great if it received another 33% cut to damage across the board for Crucible.
Let's look at it another way though.
Now we see the Suros Regime. A weapon so powerful it instantly invalidates any other means of attack or strategy. It destroys class and weapon variety as it has worked it's way into nearly every match on nearly every character. With it's lightweight and extreme power it dominates all. But see it for what it truly is.
A dark omen. Yes it is a blight. It is overpowered. Far too overpowered. This is troublesome as it may lead to more assault rifle nerfs just as the Mythoclast before it did. Remember how the overpowered Mythoclast was destroyed, creating less incentive for raiding? Know that very same Mythoclast has abandoned you, and left in it's wake a hollow ineffective shell of a weapon.
The Suros Regime will do the same. We cannot allow this. We must stand together until this abominiation is balanced. We must do so before it is too late...
Remain ever vigilant my allies. We must destroy this overpowered assault rifle before it destroys us...
Let us topple this regime.

It's people like you that lead to the "killing" of awesome weapons. Stop crying for nerfs. And I'm willing to bet that 75% of suros users are those that actually believe "OMG, the suros is OP, ima exploit it". Have you never played with a scout rifle? They eat suros alive.

1 ReplyI haven't even come across anyone using it, let alone become victim to it. I've died to various shotguns, annoying fusion rifles, stupid titan shoulder charges, Postmortem kills to warlock void things, bladedancers, this rifle is the least of my worries. Just because you had a couple of games where a player kept killing you with the same weapon doesn't mean we need to bring out the nerf hammer just yet. There's this automatic assumption that if you die to someone - a) he must be a noob b) his weapon/power was overpowered c) the world is conspiring against your awesomeness

ARs don't need a damage nerf. What they need is a recoil boost to prevent them from outclassing Scouts and Pulses, nothing else. I've seen some ARs that can be sprayed pretty damn accurately at a distant target. Silly if you ask me, but yeah I was fine with them other than that.

There are 3 other ARs that perform better in PvE, and using Suros to take up your exotic slot in PvE is just silly. It's the best weapon in the game for getting '100 precision kills' without having to go farm earth, but it's still not all that great.. it needs more impact.

they do not need to nerf any more guns in this game they all work like they are supposed to it is a damn exotic gun meaning it is supposed to kick the sh!t out of you unless you are using another exotic gun that is the point of it being one of the best guns in the game. with that said my dropped SP allows me to take down people using suros as often as I die to them so I think it needs to have its attack power boosted back to pre nerf standards, and no I do not even have the suros regime.
