Of course they have to listen. But only listening is not enough. They also have to act uopon it. Otherwise Bungies word can't be taken for serious anymore.
Another example:
My wall is an excellent listener. But will the wall act in any way? No. It won't budge. At all.

Edited by GreyMouser73: 10/23/2014 2:56:50 PMReally? You have that in writing? What are you going to do if they don't act on your advice? Bleed on them? I'm sure they are very concerned about your threat to not take them seriously anymore. So much so that they are going to drop whatever else they are doing to improve their product and start attending to your need to feel involved in the process.

im not an individual who is annoyed about their way of handling things. Read the forums or this thread to find countless proof. its not a threat but only a logical fact.

Edited by GreyMouser73: 10/23/2014 3:49:31 PMFine. The truth is, they need do nothing. They delivered a product. Anything they do to improve it after someone buys it outside of providing bug-fixes is a bonus. They don't owe it to anyone to give any inside information about their plans, to do a post-mortem that meets with anyone's approval, to listen to people's comments, to acknowledge they have heard people's comments. If they do, GREAT! But to say they need to do this, they need to do that, absolutely not. Its pure gamer entitlement and no other business in the world would put up with it. They would say, we gave you what you paid for, if you want more, you'll have to pay for it too. We appreciate your feedback, we may use some of it in a future product that you are welcome to buy. And people go around saying "but its for their own good" sure. But don't pretend you're not going to buy their next product anyway based on its strengths and marketing - people have short memories.

I agree with you. They dont need to do anything. They delivered and we bought. However an unsatisfied customer is not a returning customer. Also not one who buys additional DLC. Since they made a ten year plan including a trilogy they have a problem. Not us. We can just move on if need be.

Edited by GreyMouser73: 10/23/2014 4:34:55 PM"However an unsatisfied customer is not a returning customer. Also not one who buys additional DLC. " Oh, if only this were true. If this were actually true, the quality of most games would be MUCH better. No, people pre-order. That shows they literally do not care about quality as much as they care about hype. If Bungie sees sales slipping, that will give them plenty of incentive to take a good hard look at what the reviewers are saying.

They may as well care for it now, because it is harder to get people "back" then keep them in.
