having faced titan super and blade dancer i can confirm yours is stronger. one dies to golden gun the other doesnt. one has near instant charge animation, the other has a longer charge animation. one AOEs in a split second one requires dashing between enemies allowing more time to die.
I have never one shot a titan with shot gun during super. I have one shot a blade dancer. my results and experiances are completely different to yours. Im more inclined to ask for a titan nerf rather than buff. but i do notice this...
Titans hate hunters
hunters hate warlocks
warlocks hate titans
almost without fail...... then again i hate titans on either of my characters. why you cant die like any other crucible player I'm shooting at i will never know.

Nobody hates anything but hunters. Hunters are the weakest class for PvE and are considered useless for the raid, and are the most versatile class for PvP which makes them hated.

Edited by CaptainChortles: 11/10/2014 8:50:02 PMThe difference is that FoH requires an enemy to get close to use it. I almost never die to it anymore. You can even Blink away from it. On the other hand, if you can't kill them through Arc Blade, you're dead. Everyone's dead. You can't just get some distance and survive as easily. Also, Strikers have the same damage resistance as Arc Blade if they don't use Unstoppable. If they do use it, they lose Shoulder Charge, meaning they have a panic button to get a handful of kills a match, the worst default melee in the game and 3 grenades that are difficult to use well, as well as no Blink. There's no benefit to using Striker + Unstoppable over any other class. It's a lazy set for a few panic kills and capable of nothing else useful.

I respect all classes equally but, the titan shoulder charge is a tad bit op, not a lot but just a little, a one hit non-super kill that can be used anytime during sprinting, just a tad bit unfair. As a hunter, when I blink strike, the titan just shoulder charges me and inst-kills me. The supers for all classes are balanced, anybody who's half decent at this game cam agree on that. I think the shoulder charge should leave somebody with 1/8 health, just so you can at least have some chance to survive.
-
I may be biased but, most people cam agree with me on this
-
I have used it and damn its hard to use well, you need to take 6 steps to charge it. but its not too bad with practice. and I have had it against me and it is a tad OP, I agree, Though I think the best solution would be to have it drain your punch/only be 1 shot when charged. I dont know if a full removal would be good, because if you use the shoulder charge you lose the extra protection when launching Fist of Havoc, so i think that's a fair trade off. but the fact you can use it and it isn't even your main first/punch is a bit riddiculous. 1 hit kill if punch is charged. Otherwise take them to incredibly low health like suggested,
-
yeah, if it was the melee charged attack it would be better but, since you can use it anytime after 6 steps, its just a running insta-kill. The sheild for the FoH may be gone while attacking but, how many people actually kill a titan before they finish the FoH?
-
Haha u have no idea wat ur talking about And everyone hates warlock -blam!-in op bastards
-
Yeah I have no idea what im talking about, you have only played cruicble on your Titan, ive played on all my characters, and you only have one high level character. I think perhaps ignorant/naive/biased, but w/e I kill warlocks easily, maybe you are sucking against them as you don't understand their powers? and melee range?, he uses sunslinger i know hes gonna grenade if hes a noob, instead of shoot, if he grenades and misses he will die, if he has sunslinger i know he can 1 hit melee when its active, i know he can also get an overshield, i know how to avoid that. Voidwalker is a different matter, you can't as easily avoid it really unless they launch it from high in the air and you see them pull their hand/shoulder back. i try to jump left because the super pulls a little to their right and its very easy to hit objects and miss targets, encourage them to track my movement as they fire and hit a pillar etc. but it depends alot on what version of voidwalker they are running with.

I just find blink strike shotgun followed by there ranged Melee is hard to beat espicially that ranged Melee so jealous
-
yeah blinking + shotgun is annoying, and very effective due to radar reaction time/ player awareness. TBH i think hunter can do the same, if they have the charged melee up. but the blinking/warping is hard to use. I think the balance is meant to be the titan can punch faster, warlock further, and hunter has throwing knife/warp punch, plus the shoulder barge which is one shot kill (mental), but does reduce survivability with first of havoc. Theres two options i use. either stay very open so shotgun cant easily get close, or stay very closed/close quarters, so blinking is difficult/dissorientating.
-
Not true, it's a 2 shot for a Titan using a super and a 4 shot for a hunter. The blade dancer can go across the map and the striker can only use FoH in one place
-
you know there are no specific buffs for blade dance that give you an overshield when its used.... sunslinger and titan smash all have the option to be harder to kill when the super is active, not blade dancer. You are simply mistaken. Im sorry, and as you haven't even made a hunter or played one, I'm not suprised you r biased towards the Titans. but you are wrong.
-
FoH can be used any instant, as a surprise. Blade Dancer isn't really surprising. You could see it a mile away and react.
-
FoH kills people in a certain area. Both hunter super can kill almost every one they see (mainly blade dancer )
