When will you tell us why you changed the story, dumbed down the game, and cut other content or made the content on disc DLC?

When people like you stop being rude and demanding? "Hey dude, I demand an explanation why you made the game suck!"

  • I never said that and I deserve an answer after spending $90 on their product they lied about.

  • Sure you do. Sure they did.

  • Nice argument.
Sorry for asking a question that's apparently rude because you said so.
I don't need to argue with you, the reason you're looking for is that no company is ever going to clue you in on controversial internal decision making processes until such time as the people who made those decisions are no longer in a position to be responsible for them. You don't have any right to the answers you are looking for just because you are disappointed in their product, and giving you those answers won't fix the product you say is dumbed down. However, your post does come across as rude, "dumb down the game", "made content DLC". You're implying that they did those things. "Why did you stop beating your wife?" Well? Why? I'm not being rude. I'm just asking a question.

First, if I was beating my wife, or even had one at that, your question would be valid. You can ask a question that may have a vulgar tone/language or ask a direct question or even include an insult in it, but can a true question ever be rude? It can be asked rudely, that's for sure, but could a question ever be rude? Next, as a consumer that doesn't want gaming to just become like any other big business, I ask questions, not even demanding ones at that, on why my product was bad. If Bungie can't "man up" and tell us, the consumer, on why we didn't get the product we were expecting to get, then I have lost all hope in the "gaming business". The fact that you seem to even be defending Bungie and saying "my question is rude" because it must be hurting Bungie's "feelings" is sickening and to add on it, you deny that they changed the initial story, which is easy to see that they did. I was following Destiny for the past 2 years, analyzing every video that came out. The story has changed.

Clearly you are hopeless. Yes, the question is rude and they can be rude because of what they imply. Moving on. "The story has changed." SO WHAT. You had no contract with Bungie for a particular game. You bought what they sold you. You have no right to every piece of IP they ever developed. It belongs to them. If they want to throw away half of it, sell you a stripped down game, you have every right in the world not to buy it. You were not lied to. Every promotional video was marked pre-release, content subject to change. So either you're mentally deficient, or you've chosen to have a selective memory because you'd rather rage about being a victim of their lies. I don't care about Bungie's feelings. I'm telling you that if you asked me a question like that, and I wasn't constrained by a company policy on media relations, I'd tell you what you could go do to yourself. As it is, they just aren't going to say anything to you at all. And for good reason. So, you want an answer to why the game sucks? Management decisions. Logistics. Deadlines. Staffing issues. Development priorities. Happy?

  • I'm implying that Bungie had changed the story at a quick notice (less than a year effort release) and that they won't answer many questions that the consumers want to know. Wow, how rude of me. Also, do you enjoy being f*** by big business?

Again, SO WHAT. Lots of things wind up on the cutting room floor because they don't work, they can't be made to work in time, a focus group says they don't play well with the target audience, whatever. It doesn't matter. The product you bought is what you paid for, not for a mystical product you thought they were making. Why is this so difficult to grasp? You don't have any right to know why they made the decisions they did. If they choose to tell you, great! But your purchasing a product doesn't mean you get 100% access to every decision ever made in developing that product, or any right beyond that which is given to you under the terms of purchase. And they certainly aren't going to admit that they were pressured to release on time, or they were behind schedule, or they lost critical staff and things didn't work right, or they needed to pull something for DLC because it wasn't quite done yet and the DLC release schedule is fixed in stone. They aren't going to admit they did anything wrong because they want to have jobs in the future, and you have not been wronged, because you got the product they were selling that you chose to buy. And you "knowing the reason that the product was dumbed down." Isn't going to make you feel any better about your purchase. I'm so done. I can only speak reason to entitled so many time.I'm happy with my purchase. The person who got screwed by big business is the person who was forced to buy something they didn't want.

Yeah, you know, I'm so sad you bought something you didn't like, that that $60,$90,whatever, made you feel you were ****ed. Did you bother to read the reviews that talked at length about what was wrong with the game? Or did you rush out and throw your money at the guy at gamestop because Destiny was so overhyped you couldn't contain yourself. Seriously, I'm just asking questions. You should be careful next time. I'm sure knowing the reason they ****ed you will make you chafe less.

I pre-ordered, yes, because I was shown, some may even say promised, a whole different product than what I got. Which led me to expect something entirely different. I feel like I've been swindled by a bait-and-switch. So, yeah, I would like to know why they did this and to see of they even have a viable reason and if they don't I expect my money back.
I thought you were done?
You said we were changing the topic. I'm pointing out the logical fallacy. Anyway, as to pre-ordering, don't do that again. That's a bad idea. They can't bait and switch anything when everything they've shown you was marked "subject to change". I can tell you right now you should just go try to get your money back. No answer is going to be forthcoming.

Except they never stated or had shown in any way on how the story was subject to change in this large of a way and this was one of my first pre ordered games after 16 years. If I ever pre order a game again it won't be from Bungie. Also, I said "Let's talk about logical fallacies" which is just insisting that we change the subject.
I'm also a well known liar.. or am I lying about that? I don't remember.
• There was literally nothing rude in what he asked. It was merely a question. Read what he asked objectively. There is no insult or anything rude in it.

Eating lunch, your other thread is full of idiocy and entitled whining, of course you will be here defending an entitled whiner.
