Saturn was going to have an area that was a derelict starship/ space station in its rings. It was going to be a huge, old, abandoned starship area, not much actual space on the actual planet of Saturn from the way Bungie talked in advertisements describing Saturn. Also, I'm tired of people talking about how unrealistic the gas giants in Destiny would be when it is seriously 100% no more unrealistic than the other planets, because NONE of them are even REMOTELY CLOSE to being habitable. It is also speculated that the gas giants do have metallic, solid cores, and that is likely since they generate extremely powerful magnetic fields which are necessary to shield their huge atmospheres, because planets can't keep atmospheres without magnetic fields protecting the atmospheres. Mars has a very weak magnetic field, and therefore has very, very little atmosphere.

  • I don't know about the rest of you, but I don't play a sci-fi game for realistic things, I play them for the enjoyment of the imagination. If we set foot on Saturn awesome. If it's just one of the moons still fantastic. I just want to go and explore....oh and shoot aliens in the face somewhere different then the places we currently have.

  • Yeah Destiny is not a very realistic game at all, which is probably why Bungie threw around terms like "Mythic Sci-fi" and "Fantasy Sci-fi" during advertising. And not being realistic is not necessarily bad. Lots and lots of things are totally realistic but totally enjoyable to millions of people. If you want a more realistic sci-fi universe somewhat like Destiny, then Halo is what you want. Destiny = Unrealistic terraforming of Venus Halo = Realistic colonization of Reach, an Earth-like planet found FAR away from Earth That's just one very fast example of how Halo is a more reality-based sci-fi universe, and Destiny is a more fantasy-based sci-fi universe. Neither real or fantasy is necessarily better, so people need to stop acting like either is better.
