Because they prefer to look at a female while playing a game. That's not a good thing, since it means you are physically attracted to in-game avatars, and that's all kinds of crazy.
I see an in-game avatar as an extension of myself, therefore I try to keep them close to the original ;)

Finding a female figure attractive has nothing to do with whether it's real or not. Pin-up girls were everywhere dusting the 50's and 60's. And guess what? Most of them were drawn.

Role-playing exists. Also, I don't want to be playing a Hulk-like meatbag of a character at end-game. 30 Warlocks are comical.

It doesn't mean that at all and tbh if you can't find a woman attractive both irl and vitual then guess what means.

I made my first character as an extension of myself, but there's 3 character slots, I went for some variety. My character creation process: I figured the races/classes fit best as Human-Hunter, Awoken-Warlock, and Exo-Titan. Character 1: Male, Human, Hunter. The character that I create as an extension of myself. Character 2: Female, Awoken, Warlock. Variety, I already had a male character. Character 3: Female, Human, Titan. I didn't like the customization on Exos, so I went with Human-Titan. I already had a Male Human character, so I opted for Female Human. After playing them, I can say a Warlock looks best as female. The armour looks proper, it doesn't look awkward or anything, which it does for a Female Titan. I'm glad I chose a female character for my Warlock, it looks the best. Not so much for my Titan.

I thought some female titans look kinda bad ass.
