I just think it's irritating that everyone auto assumes I am a man because so many men play female characters.
But male characters are ugly usually, so I understand why. Still kind of sexist when men say they play female characters so they can "stare at that hot ass" when they play.

I don't think you know what sexist means.
-
Unfair treatment based on gender. Which is exactly what that is.
-
How is that unfair treatment.
-
Pretty sure men don't grab-ass all over other men. Lol
-
You do realise women grab asses just as much right? I also know women who actually say "dat ass" to both sexes. It's just sex appeal be thankful they're not playing as men saying dat package tho.
-
Dont bro me if you dont know me.... bro. :)
-
So sexist that males are attracted to females. What.
-
Hmmm. I never really think about it. I treat everyone the same regardless of sex, but I do refer to everyone as dude. I feel it is almost unisex, and everyone can get behind it.
-
Haha people call my bro a lot. Dude I can see. But I really dont think bro is a unisex nickname
-
Sure it is, I've been calling my sister "bro" years.
-
Lol I call my sister bro as well, but thats sisterly love. Someone you dont even know isnt really your bro. Haha
-
Except bro code states that if you follow the bro code. You are in fact a bro.

Edited by ThomasChr: 10/23/2014 5:21:40 AMThat's definitely more sad than sexist, lol. I agree about female characters often looking more symmetrically attractive in games, though. I think it's largely due to developers being indecisive when it comes to how masculine male players are supposed to look. I've noticed that in a lot of games, male characters have really broad shoulders and slim waists and legs, for some reason. I did play a game several years ago where male characters weren't as bulky. They still looked relatively masculine, in my opinion, but some people were complaining that they looked too feminine. It's probably easier to create female characters, since no one will complain if they look too feminine.
-
Haha I suppose. But I've never heard a woman play a male character cuz "dat ass"
-
this comment, actually i was complimented for my ass a few years ago by a girl, i found it pretty funny

Well, I suspect that there's a higher ratio of lonely nerd guys than lonely nerd gals! It's odd how annoying it can be to control a character that looks like crap. I mean, you'd think it didn't matter that much, but it can be re-start worthy. I remember in World of Warcraft, it always annoyed me that male Night Elves had this massive upper body, gorilla arms, and stick legs. I re-rolled a female night elf :P

Haha yeah. It shouldn't really matter in a game thats mostly first person though haha
