raid difficulty?
How does the raid (regular mode) compare in difficulty to this weeks nightfall? (summoning pits) I understand that it's more complicated, but from a sheer amount-of-effort perspective, how does it compare?
Do you have to be super careful, or can you play a little risky?
And lastly is it fun, or grueling?

So long as every listens and is decently geared raid is easy. Hard mode is still tough though.

The strategy and "puzzles" are hard the first time, but once you get it down it becomes fairly easy. There is video on youtube from 2 guys doing it by themselves. Edit: i recommend that you watch that video, because its easier to get a whole perspective of the different parts since they do multiple roles alone. Its better to watch than say a regular 6piece raid where you just watch one guy just doing one thing You need to be six people, but i'd say its alot easier than any nightfall, except for the atheon part (last boss)

The raid is amazing fun.. Just be prepared to die and start checkpoints over again. Just take it easy if you have a group of friends who you will do it regularly with, I recommend going in without a guide the first time to see what it was like when the first people attempted it .. Then go find a guide to get you through quicker and before long one if you will be the natural raid leader. Night fall is probably harder strategy wise because it's different every weak so you cannot get used to it. But the raid take more team work and co-ordination but it's easier to form strategy.

8 RepliesI mean with the right group and light level they're easy. But I would say doing the nightfall you will die a lot more. That arc damage is no joke. Wizards where almost 2 hitting me when I was on my level 30.

Nightfall is definitely harder than normal raid IMO. Much harder. The normal raid is quite fair really. Nightfall should get a change to name to Nightmare.
