This you guys seeing no engrams must be trying to farm diablo style still and kill random stuff in the wild. Do tiger strikes. You get engrams for completing the mission as well as on it. Cryptach levels gives you about a 10% chance of a legendary engram from what I can tell, you'll get a cryptarch level level every 4 strikes or so. Anyways I've seen 3 since patch, JUST as drops IIRC, 1 has been a shard. That being said, if your doing strikes and crucible at good frequency, you can get 100 marks a week in each. For legendary gear that's one piece a week in each, so 2. For legendary weapons thats 2 weapons every 3 weeks in each, so 4 weapons. in 3 weeks. That's over a one per week drop rate for both. Combine that wth Xur offering an exotic once a week and the RNG and you should be getting 1-2 a week no issues. If you want more than that, sorry bout ya. No offense if they game drops 5+ every week this game will be out of relevant gear pretty quickly. In one month you can get 2-3 new legendary weapons. Engrams are NOT the main way in this game to get gear, once you accept that and move on you'll be much happier.
