But for real this next generation of people coming in don't seem too... Um... Sharp.

Don't play enough call of crap????????? What is this? I think that 12 year olds need to stop playing those crap games and start playing on game cube and 64. Halo and destiny is fine. Like do any kids now even know what the game star fox is about? Or how about super Mario 64? Kids need to go back to the classics

Edited by car15: 10/26/2014 10:33:42 AMTheir parents. Typical Baby Boomers and their ilk, refusing to take responsibility for anything in life. You tank the economy and then complain until the government bails you out. You export our good jobs overseas and refuse to retire and then complain about all the lazy unemployed young people in America. You raise your children with an inflated sense of entitlement and then have the audacity to blame them for your own failure as a parent. All Baby Boomers have done for my generation so far is force us to pay for their entitlement payouts... all the while bitching and moaning about how entitled we are.

What's the general gap between generation sub cultures? Like a decade? A life span? I don't wanna be cast aside with the beebs and the dam lordes. Ima led zepp jammen, quicksilver wearing, hamburger helper eating 20th century kid, dammit, I have my rights.
-
I'm 12 and what's this?
-
I am here to speak for some of the not idiots of my generation. There are far too many careless parents and careless kids. I was once told while trying to help a guy prioritize "i dont need no school. Ima be an NBA supasta!" While the majority of my generation is populated with idiots, there are some like me who are genuinely smart and give a ploop about our education.

Let's blame the upcoming teenage generation for becoming illogical puppets of capitalism. Because they had a choice in how they were raised right? Allegory of the Cave, book 7, "The Republic" by Plato. Read it and understand the fault in the previous generation looking at their successors, that they raised, negatively for the aspects such as how they think and operate socially. There is no justification for blaming a generation for their social presence. Think domino effect.

It depends where you look.

Autism is the leading cause of autism in children aged 6-16 in the US.

on behalf of my generation, id like to apologize for the idiots roaming the earth. im 15, and in my science class they made so much noise that i couldint think, then a student asked what we were doing in class and i face desked so hard i almost passed out. https://www.commonsensemedia.org/game-reviews/grand-theft-auto-v Read the main review, then look at the kid, teen and parent reviews.
-
from what i can tell since i'm involved in youth sports right now, it seems to me that they are getting exposed to things more rapidly and thus making them not know how to handle the responsibility's that comes with what is going on, and leads them to make stupid choices.
-
Not much. We would be beating the previous generation hands down if they hadn't -blam!-ed up the economy and environment.
-
people in the '50s asked the same thing when the beatles and elvis brainwashed them with rock and roll every generation has their "rock and roll" wtf happend to our children moment. i blame iphones myspace and miley cyrus
-
Look at their parents, and the age of said parents. It's a generation of children being raised by children.
-
Maturity...
-
Honestly I did feel bad for us newer generation. But look at the generation before us, people who do too much drugs and make too many mistakes. Then you try to discipline us.
-
We're doomed.
-
After working in a casino for about 3 years in a college town I see stupidity from this idiot college kids all the time. They have no respect and will flat out make your life hell on purpose just so they can get their kicks and masturbate on it later that night. The stupidity a good deal of them show is almost jaw dropping. I feel like I could cage them up and sell tickets for people to come look at them.
-
There fat.
-
Instead of blaming the children, maybe you should blame the people raising them? Food for thought.
-
Disheveled homes (broken families) = disheveled lives.

Edited by Sixteenvolt420: 10/25/2014 4:10:09 PMPeople seem to raise them giving them all trophies in sports and making them think that everybody is a winner in life.

Nothing, one is a Fulbright Scholar and getting paid to get her masters in biology at Wake Forest and the other graduated suma from Elon and has almost a full ride to law school. They take after their mom, thank goodness.
