Option, hell no. Make it a Rule. It shouln't exist in first place. It's ridiculous.
Make it more real. No autoaim, no magentic bullets.

With no aim assist console games would be so difficult. Try killing friendly marines on a game like halo compared to grunts and the difference is quite huge.

You're right, but having autoaim and magnetic bullets, one only needs to swing the weapon toward the objective and the game does the rest. That's why there are so many player using 10-sensibility on sticks, with the excuse of is not fast enough, when doing that only gives them more help with autoaim.
