Nobody is a unique snowflake, the only way to get to a 30 is to wear one of 2 raid gear sets. Everybody looks exactly the same.

-
30 is meaningful in all of PvE. Also, if you have the gear to be a 30 why would you drop down in PvP unless you were pretending/being a smurf.
-
Once a decent player has reached lvl 27, they can pretty much pubstomp everything in the game, lvl 30 makes that ever so slightly easier. As for the second thing, because without lvl bonuses, my armor choice falls to what I think looks the best. The only thing 30* gear has on 28* gear is ego stroking.

Except the Raid gear is Objectively better in every aspect
-
Umm... So objectively, it looks better? No. So objectively, its' slightly better stats make a real difference anywhere but the vault? Doesn't look that way. Look, this is getting off topic anyway so I'm done, but max lvl doesn't mean jackshit in this game, it's a pat on the back handed down from on high by RNGod. You enjoy your raid gear if you want but as is, I feel the benefits of the gear are negligible, otherwise I'd wear it. Just my two cents, now I'm done.
-
No raid gear is objectively better because they play into the classes the most. For example int for the hunters. Combined with stats on them that allow for more ammo on the most common guns (I can carry 9 rockets in my hezens vengeance or 3 full reloads) which carry into PVP. The only thing that would make any sense would be to switch out one of the pieces if it had let us say hand cannon ammo and you were using a scout rifle to get that extra ammo. Ps I am not a 30 and I have one piece of raid gear that I got the other day but to deny the fact that they are objectively better for your class just because you don't have any is asinine.
-
Cool, still not wearing mine, still feel the difference is negligible, buy into it if you want, but shit looks and feels pretty lame to me.

Edited by network_909: 10/22/2014 7:28:25 PMI think the OPs point was that being a unique snowflake is more about the way you play than the way you look. Though I tend to think the gameplay doesn't really allow for enough depth to have that much uniqueness in gameplay, it also has to do with the way we all choose to just run around and shoot stuff willy nilly. If we played our 3 person squads more like the we would way play a turn-based RPG party, we would feel more "specialized".
-
It's really just shoot this guy or that guy with weapon. Sure you have a few different types of weapons but at the end of it all you are only shooting things.
-
Yeah, it pretty much is.

True true! I Thought my shader bloodpact was unique but oh well..
