What's ridiculous is getting killed in 3 body shots from across the map with an auto rifle......you know as soon as you hear the telltale low drone "thump thump thump" you have no chance. I feel like maybe the SUROS people are feeling butt hurt that they wont be able to stand in the middle of a map and spin a circle firing at random and finishing 25 and 4....heaven forbid you need to aim for the head right?

Gerber baby eh? That's cute. Explain to me how having a discussion about the efficacy of a gun constitutes (as you would so vaguely put it) wanting to "nerf the game"? Seems to me like you might be nervous to have to use something other than spray and pray to win.

I wasn't directing the "nerfing the game" towards you in particular, but towards everyone who posts to nerf this and that. It seems like every other post is about people whining to have something nerfed because they can't compete. As far as aiming/spraying and praying (or preying, however you want to interpret the saying) goes, the SUROS seems like one of the the Auto Rifles that, in order to be effective, needs to be aimed (because of its slow rate of fire) more so than other Auto Rifles. I don't have it, so if I'm wrong, someone please correct me. For me personally, I use a Pulse Rifle, Sniper, and Rockets so spray and pray wouldn't really work for me. Sorry :/ This is like clockwork: weapon A gets nerfed; people move to new weapon B, more people use B, causing more people to die from B; more people complain about B; Weapon B gets nerfed, people move to weapon C... and so the cycle continues.

It takes 9 body shots & 6 headshots to kill with Suros while aimed down.

Were talking about the same gun right? SUROS Regime ? Maybe you fire more than 3 bullets from the mag but when you're getting hit with it, first round removes all but a little bit of your shield, second and third kill you. You can say it takes more bullets all you want but having used SUROS, it kills people just as quickly as a machine gun most times.

Base Damage: -34% Vex: 27 -2% Suros: 29 Crit Damage: Vex: 41, 1.5x Multiplier Suros: 36, 1.25x Multiplier Vex: Base 8 Shots, Crit 5 Shots Suros: Base 7 Shots, Crit 6 Shots Note: I run max armor on my lock so it would take 7+ headshots to kill me with Suros. Although the numbers may be true I was under the impression these were for when the guns were stock and not fully upgraded. Also I feel like a damage comparison to other auto rifles post patch may help put to rest the feelings of the gun being "op".

Right now Suros shoots too slow & Vision of Confluence, a legendary weapon does more damage longer range & scout rifles have higher crit modifiers. I get killed by Shadow Price, Vision, & Vanquisher more times than anything in crucible. Suros is a dying breed.

I use thorn now but I agree with vanquisher....that was my go to before I finished the bounty. Doctor nope gets me alot too....and just recently seen a lot of the damerang fusion rifle.
