"I Only Kill Oracles"
I had someone tell me this during a raid last night when I told them to take left plate.
I asked 'em, "What do you plan on doing when they patch the raid and change it to random teleports and you have no idea what to do when it comes to the other positions?" [i]It's not like it's rocket science, but still.[/i]
He said, "I go on bnet everyday and I didn't see anything about that." I booted him from the fireteam and we beat it with 5 players.
Point is, learn the other positions... learn them all. It makes rotating to a different position very easy when something bad happens (deaths). You'll also be ready for when they patch the raid. Too many times have I seen people being told, "You're doing this." or "I need you for this. Go here." and they're like, "I only kill oracles."

You are evil 😈 I was inexperience but the group was doing they teach me what to do in some part and was pretty easy and smooth. They never boot me -_-

People are always going to want to do what they prefer doing. What they find easiest for them to do. He said he only does oracles since it may be what he is good at. Some can't handle the shield. Some have hand cannons or other single fire weapons (not recommended for oracles). And some may struggle outside protecting the portals. But in the end let them do what they prefer and you cover the role they can't.... Unless your a one trick pony?

Some people just don't like going out of their comfort zone... Maybe don't boot someone for that next time without trying a little harder... Unless it was on hard lol then you can't risk having an idiot on your team.

if this player was being uncooperative that is one thing. if he has a preference for one role and you choosing to take the person out of that comfort zone thats another.

i wouldnt boot him out. its just one guy anyway I on the other hand wouldnt take the relic role unless its atheon stage. gatekeeper i wouldnt do it, id let the experienced ones do it. I am good defending though. But when atheon stage comes I really dont care what role i get put in since i know every part there is

If the rest of your fire team were so flexible you didn't kick them, why didn't one of them just take left plate? You moan about flexibility despite being very inflexible on people preferring one job to another. You could've sent someone else to do left plate, done it with 6 people, not written this topic, not gotten angry replies off people and I wouldn't have had to waste time replying!

3 RepliesWhen you get to templar ask who doesn't know how to use it teach them the controls let them play around with it a couple minutes. Kicking was a bit harsh and regardless you only need four who know how to use it for Atheon.

But if someone started the raid with you and helped get to the final boss it's only fair to let them finish. It's not like the patch was up at the time. Just don't raid with them next time or ask them to study and learn more positions.

Well you might be right but booting a player outright without attempting to school them is just not right. Should have given the player a chance to try a new role and then boot the player if the player decided not to follow orders

I've done everything aside from holding the final Relic. Yet funny enough, we usually failed when I didn't bring the Relic on the other times. I guess I just move too much when killing and the others don't know how to use the Relic that well? No idea

I've only heard rumors and watched some videos on youtube for prep work. Every time a M2ARP comes up I almost accept it, but then chicken out because I don't know what i'm doing in there and I don't want everyone to die because I'm running around like a friggin idiot. I see what you mean though, I wouldn't want to play with someone who didn't want to be a team player.

I dont think I know how to kill harpies - Just solo minotaurs and hobgoblins in 5 seconds flat. I'm scared...

Oracles are pretty easy to kill... the only thing I am not so good at is relic, only because someone else always grabs it to save time.
